Der JHS Kilt V2 verfügt nach wie vor über den fantastischen Schaltkreis der Vorgängerversion, allerdings mit super wenig Nebengeräuschen, verbesserter Slew Rate für sanfteren, strukturierteren Overdrive mit einem Charakter, der sich noch besser anfühlt als der des originalen Expandora Overdrives auf dem die Schaltung basiert. Der Cut/Flat Kippschalter gibt dir die Option das Low End zu Cutten, für einen beefigeren Sound als ihn der Expandora bietet. G1 und G2 Kippschalter lassen dir verschiedene Zerr-Sounds, von leichtem, transparenten Drive bis hin zur Wand aus Fuzz und Distortion und allem dazwischen. Außerdem verfügt die V2 über die Möglichkeit den G2 Toggle per Red Remote Fußschalter zu aktivieren, sodass du On-the-Fly auf heftigen Overdrive oder Fuzz umschalten kannst!

The JHS Kilt V2 still has the fantastic circuit of the version one, but with super low noise, improved slew rate for a smoother structure and a character that just feels better than the original Expandora. The Cut/Flat toggle switch gives the option to cut the low end frequencies or to have a more beefier sound than the original Expandora and the G1 and G2 toggles let you select various forms of distortion, from light transparent drive all the way to a wall of fuzz/distortion and everything found in-between. Also, the V2 has the ability to switch the G2 toggle with the Red Remote footswitch giving you the opportunity to flip into heavy overdrive or fuzz with a footswitch on the fly!

Dieser Effekt, der in den Achtzigern in einigen berühmten Gitarrenaufnahmen auftauchte, war damals für uns “normale” Musiker kaum erschwinglich. The EHX Pitch Fork transposes an instrument’s pitch over a +/- three octave range and features three modes which allow the pitch to be transposed up, down or both, simultaneously. Das Boss DD-500, ein High End Delay des japanischen Effektgeräte-Herstellers, kann mit 12 Delay-Programmen, 32 Bit/96 kHz Signalverarbeitung, bis zu 297 Speicherplätzen und einem Looper aufwarten und ist mit dieser Ausstattung naturgemäß in einer etwas höheren Preisklasse angesiedelt. Allein diese Eckdaten sind einigermaßen imposant, aber die Marke Boss und der Mutterkonzern Roland haben bereits in der Vergangenheit – zum Beispiel mit dem DD-20, dem Space Echo oder dem Tera Echo – bewiesen, dass man durchaus auch in unterschiedlichen Preiskategorien in der Lage ist, uns Gitarristen mit amtlichen Delay-Sounds zu versorgen.

The Boss DD-500 is one of the few Boss pedals which are, because of their size, less pedalboard friendly. Therefor, it offers up to 10 seconds maximum delay time, tap tempo and tape emulation.
Other features of the stereo pedal that allows to choose a true bypass or a buffered processing, are modulation, expression pedal and midi input.
Furthermore, you can lead different delays (modulation models) on several channels and run the pedal serial as well as parallel.
All things considered, the 9V pedal with integrated looper provides an extremely extensive menu including tone shaping options.
Nevertheless, the Boss DD-500 which is still produced today is not really legendary and its sound is quite sterile. This is why this digital delay is a 3 of 10 on my cult factor scale.

Der Grand Orbiter ist ein vierstufiger, analoger Phaser, der außer klassischen auch ungewöhnliche Sounds und Vibrato-Effekte bietet. Das Grand Orbiter Phaser-Pedal ist umschaltbar von Phaser- auf Vibrato-Effekte und verfügt über einen Dreifach-Modulationsbereich-Schalter sowie einen LFO-Kill-Switch, um den Effekt alternativ auch manuell, als feststehendes Resonanzfilter "durchstimmen" zu können. Der Dreifach-Modulationsbereich-Schalter bietet die Modi Slow Sweep, Fixed Resonance und Fast Sweep. Mit dem Master-Rate-Regler lässt sich die Geschwindigkeit in den verschiedenen Modi feinabstimmen. Zudem funktioniert der Fußschalter als Standard Latching Schalter als auch als Momentary Switch, sodass du den Effekt immer nur genau so lange nutzen kannst wie du ihn brauchst. .Der Grand Orbiter verfügt über einen True Bypass und wird in Handarbeit in Ohio/USA hergestellt. Der Grand Orbiter V3 verfügt über einen geräuschlosen, relais-basierten Soft-Touch Fußschalter. Audiosignale haben keinen Durchgang, wenn das Gerät nicht mit Strom versorgt wird.

The Grand Orbiter is a four stage analog phaser that offers classic and unconventional phaser and vibrato sounds, it can go from stationary and resonant to fast and swirly. The Grand Orbiter can be turned from phaser to vibrato via a dedicated switch and features a three way toggle switch to select between the ranges of modulation. One of these ranges, kills the LFO and allows the Grand Orbiter to work as a fixed resonant filter. The three ranges offer the following modes: Slow Sweep, Fixed Resonance and Fast Sweep. The Rate control allows to fine tune the speed of the LFO in each one of the modes. It can be activated in standard latching operation or in momentary operation, by just holding the footswitch down for as long as you'd use the effect. The Grand Orbiter is a True Bypass pedal and is hand made in Ohio, USA. The Grand Orbiter V3 uses silent relay-based soft touch switching. Audio will not pass without power.

The Pulp N Peel V4 is the result of over six years of tweaking, learning, and experimenting. The Pulp N Peel V3 has become a staple on thousands of players' boards all over the world and has gained a reputation for being the compression pedal for players who don't like compression. In version 4 JHS have stayed true to the things that made the PnP stand out among its competition while adding several new features that expand the circuit’s ability to reach into new territory, new tones and new ways of thinking about a compression pedal. These features include an improved detection circuit for smoother and more sustained tones, more headroom, a built in parallel overdrive-drive circuit, a tone control, and parallel 1/4" and DI outputs. The idea behind the Pulp N Peel is to have a compressor pedal that you never want to turn off, that doesn't rob your attack, that has a very low noise floor, and that adds a professional polish to every chord, lead line, and note that blooms out of your guitar.

Also machte er sich als Ingenieur daran, ein Pedal zu entwickeln, das seinen Erwartungen und hohen Ansprüchen gerecht werden würde. So wurde 1976 das SCF geboren, und der Rest ist Geschichte, wie man so schön sagt. Aber hey! Niemand hat gesagt, dass die Geschichte zu Ende ist. Im Gegenteil, wir schreiben diese Geschichte weiter. Tatsächlich hat sich der Kreis geschlossen und wir treten in eine neue Ära der SCF-Geschichten ein. Darf ich vorstellen: SCF GOLD - ein legendäres Pedal!

Our founder, who is also a musician, was annoyed with the quality of effect pedals available back in the 70s – they were just so noisy. So, being an engineer, he set out to design a pedal that would live up to his expectations and high standards. That was how the SCF was born all the way back in 1976, and the rest is history as they say. But hey! No one said the story was over. On the contrary, we’re adding to that history. In fact, it has come full circle and we’re really entering a new era of the SCF tales. Please meet SCF GOLD – a legendary pedal to be!
