Das BOSS HM-2 Heavy Metal wurde von 1983 bis 1991 produziert und ist bis heute eine Legende unter den Distortion-Pedalen. Doch auch in "sanfteren" Einstellungen überzeugt das HM-2 auf unzähligen Mainstream- und Shoegaze-Tracks. Seit Jahren erreichen uns Anfragen von eingefleischten HM-2-Fans – nun ist es endlich soweit: nach drei Jahrzehnten wird der legendäre Bodentreter in einer speziellen Waza Craft-Edition neu aufgelegt. Das HM-2W liefert den authentischen analogen Klang des Originals, erweitert um zahlreiche moderne Funktionen und Details für eine nochmals verbesserte Performance.

Produced from 1983 to 1991, the BOSS HM-2 Heavy Metal is a true legend in the history of distortion pedals. Its signature “chainsaw tone” with all knobs maxed is the defining voice of Swedish death metal, and the slightly milder sides of its personality can be heard on tracks from mainstream to shoegaze. After years of requests from hardcore HM-2 fans, the iconic stomp is now reborn three decades later in a special Waza Craft edition. The HM-2W delivers the authentic analog sound of the original in all its glory, coupled with lots of modern refinements for enhanced performance.

It has an extremely tweakable EQ – from scooped mids to tons of warm mids, all with the turn of 2 knobs.

This pedal has 4 knobs — two separate tone controls that act as a sort of parametric EQ, gain and volume.
It also has a four‘bright’ switch that adds a tone of variety and is very handy when playing a dark sounding amp,
as well as another toggle switch that will give you high gain 'Brown Sound' tones.
