Tremolo MKII

TREMOLO

Description

Tremolo is a dynamic effect that is created by changing the volume amplitude and its speed. The Moollon Tremolo MkII takes this principle and expands it with a modern, digital control - without losing sight of the sound character of classic amplifiers. The pedal quantizes various tremolo waveforms found in vintage amps and creates its own versatile sound by precisely controlling an internal VCA (voltage controlled amplifier) via a microcontroller (MCU). A specially developed circuit ensures that typical VCA noise is avoided. As a result, no disturbing transition is audible when the effect is switched on and off, which supports a particularly natural playing feel. The Tremolo MkII has four controls: Speed, Depth, Ratio and Wave. The new Ratio control is a special feature of this version - it controls the speed at which the maximum volume is reached. This allows many subtle nuances to be achieved within the selected waveform. The Wave control offers four selectable waveforms: Square, Sine, Triangle and Sawtooth - providing a wide range of classic to modern tremolo sounds. The Moollon Tremolo MkII is the logical development of the original and is aimed at guitarists who are looking for precise control, vintage-inspired sounds and trouble-free operation in a high-quality effects pedal.
