The Moollon Scorpius Distortion + Boost is a versatile distortion pedal with two separate channels: a distortion channel and a boost channel. It offers plenty of gain to produce powerful sustain even with a clean amplifier. The distortion channel features interactive bass and treble controls that allow for extensive sound shaping - from classic, mid-emphasized amp-like sounds (with bass and treble controls lowered) to modern, “scooped” distortion sounds (with controls raised). In between, there is a wide selection of finely adjustable sound variants. The boost channel complements the setup with a post-gain clean boost section, which can be used to set an additional output level - ideal for solo parts or volume jumps. As with the Sagittarius, the pedal has a practical bypass switch on the left-hand side, which can be used to switch between true bypass and a high-quality buffered bypass.
