EQUALIZER

The Moollon equalizer offers extremely precise control over the entire frequency spectrum of electric guitar or electric bass and enables a wide range of sound shaping - without any unwanted clipping. The treble control offers a boost or cut of ±15 dB at 4.5 kHz, the bass control also intervenes at 100 Hz with ±15 dB. In addition, the pedal has a flexible midrange control that covers a range from 200 Hz to 2 kHz. The mid section is particularly versatile, as it not only influences the level, but also offers frequency selection and bandwidth control (Q factor). This means that the equalizer can be used specifically as a mid-range boost or cut to precisely shape a wide variety of timbres. When used as an external preamp, the equalizer can give an instrument with passive pickups the character of an active bass or an active guitar. It is particularly suitable for guitarists as a basic boost, as a mid-range boost or as a compensator when changing amplifiers or guitars in order to quickly adapt the sound to personal preferences. Acoustic instruments with weak piezo pickups also benefit greatly from the Moollon equalizer, as it allows both level boosting and targeted sound shaping - ideal for live or studio situations where additional control is required.
