Der Moollon Custom Shop 3 Plus, bestehend aus Moollon Compressor, Equalizer, D.I. und Signal Boost, ist eine Full-Range-Effektkombination, die sich für alle Arten von musikalischen Anwendungen eignet. Mit den beiden einfachen, aber detaillierten EQ-Reglern lässt sich eine breite Palette von Tönen einstellen, darunter auch eine nützliche Kontrolle von Rückkopplungen, um dröhnende Bässe und schrille Obertöne zu zähmen.

Wenn es darum geht, die Lautstärke des Eingangssignals auszugleichen, hat sich der Moollon-Kompressor bereits als eigenständiges Gerät mit sehr natürlicher Kompression durchgesetzt, das als erste Stufe des 3 Plus eingesetzt wird.

Die letzte Stufe des 3 Plus ist der Signal Boost, der das Gesamtsignal um bis zu 12 dB anhebt, um nicht nur die Lautstärke schwächerer Tonabnehmer anzuheben, sondern auch um Solos zu verstärken oder einfach die Gesamtlautstärke ohne jegliche Klangverfärbung zu erhöhen.

Der trafosymmetrische D.I. wandelt den Instrumentenpegel in den notwendigen Mikrofonpegel um, wobei der D.I.-Ausgang entweder für den Mikrofoneingang eines Mischpults oder einen Mikrofonvorverstärker geeignet ist.
Zwischen Kompressor und Equalizer befindet sich eine Send/Return-Schleife, die es ermöglicht, weitere Pedale in der Signalkette zu platzieren, um noch vielfältigere Möglichkeiten der Klangformung zu bieten.

When it comes to leveling out the volume of the input signal, the Moollon compressor has already begun to gain acceptance as a standalone unit offering very natural compression, and is featured as the first stage of the 3 Plus.

The final stage of the 3 Plus is the Signal Boost, which offers up to 12db of clean gain to the overall signal for not only bringing up the volume of weaker output pickups, but also for boosting solos or simply raising the total volume without any tonal colorization whatsoever.

The transformer-balanced D.I. converts the instrument level to that of necessary mic level, with the D.I. output made suitable for either a console"s mic input or a mic preamp.
Between the Compressor and Equalizer a send/return loop is conveniently placed to assist with additional pedal placement in the signal chain to offer even more diverse possibilities with tone shaping.
For example, an overdrive/distortion pedal can be placed in the loop, and by dialing in a speaker simulation setting in the EQ.

After setting the Low and High cut along with Mid boost, the Frequency and Bandwidth of the mids can be adjusted to create various tones suitable for direct recording.

The Compressor can also be effective in jointly creating an analog tape machine simulation, and the Boost useful for saturating the console input, making the Custom Shop 3 Plus also a practical tool for shaping the possibilities of analog tone in a digital environment.

Der Moollon Chorus bietet einen dichten und reichhaltigen analogen Chorus-Sound mit einem breiten Regelbereich.

Für den ultimativen analogen Klang wurden originale Panasonic BBD-Chips ausgewählt. Eine besondere Eigenschaft des Moollon Chorus ist die Möglichkeit, Dry- und Wet-Signale getrennt zu regeln. So kannst du nicht nur die Gesamtlautstärke, sondern auch das Mischverhältnis von Dry und Wet frei bestimmen.
Diese Funktion ermöglicht Klangvariationen von Vibrato bis zu klassischem Chorus mit besonders weiter Ausdrucksspanne und hebt das Pedal deutlich von anderen Chorus-Pedalen ab, die nur über eine Wet-Level-Kontrolle verfügen.
Mit dem Depth-Regler lässt sich die Tiefe der Tonhöhenmodulation feinjustieren, was zusätzliche klangliche Nuancen eröffnet. Der Tone-Regler wirkt ausschließlich auf das Wet-Signal und erlaubt es, von einem warmen Vintage-Charakter bis hin zu einem strahlend modernen Chorus-Sound zu wechseln.
Dank des großen Speed-Reglers an der Unterseite der Frontplatte kannst du die Geschwindigkeit bequem mit dem Fuß anpassen – selbst während des Spielens.

The Moollon Chorus offers a dense and rich analog chorus sound with a wide control range.

Original Panasonic BBD chips were selected for the ultimate analog sound. A special feature of the Moollon Chorus is the ability to control dry and wet signals separately. This allows you to freely determine not only the overall volume, but also the mixing ratio of dry and wet.

This function enables sound variations from vibrato to classic chorus with a particularly wide range of expression and clearly sets the pedal apart from other chorus pedals that only have a wet level control.

The Depth control can be used to fine-tune the depth of the pitch modulation, which opens up additional tonal nuances.

The Tone control only affects the wet signal and allows you to switch from a warm vintage character to a radiant modern chorus sound.

Thanks to the large Speed knob on the underside of the front panel, you can easily adjust the speed with your foot - even while playing.

Als der britische Rock seine goldene Ära erlebte, spielten Musiker auf großen Bühnen mit leistungsstarken, oft mehrfach verketteten Verstärkersystemen. In dieser Umgebung wurde der Treble Boost ursprünglich entwickelt, um Höhenverluste durch lange und komplexe Kabelwege auszugleichen.

Doch bald wurde klar: Dieses Pedal tat mehr, als nur Frequenzen zurückzuholen – es verlieh dem Sound einen charakteristischen Biss, der ihn zum zentralen Werkzeug britischer Rockgitarristen machte. Der Klang auf Eric Claptons frühen Alben setzte Maßstäbe, und Künstler wie Rory Gallagher und Brian May verfeinerten ihren Sound mit dem Treble Boost – er wurde zur Legende unter Vintage-Liebhabern.

Der Moollon Limited Edition Treble Boost basiert auf der legendären Schaltung des Dallas Rangemaster aus den 1960er-Jahren. Für diese Neuauflage wurden originale NOS Mullard OC44 Germanium-Transistoren verwendet – extrem seltene Bauteile, die maßgeblich für den authentischen Klang verantwortlich sind. Die Schaltung ist punkt-zu-punkt verdrahtet, ganz im Stil klassischer Boutique-Elektronik.

Besonders vielseitig wird dieses Modell durch den 3-Wege-Schalter mit den Modi Treble 1, Treble 2 und Mid, die unterschiedliche Klangbereiche ansprechen und so eine breite klangliche Anwendung ermöglichen – vom brillanten Höhenboost bis zur fokussierten Mittenanhebung.

Aufgrund der begrenzten Verfügbarkeit der OC44-Transistoren ist diese Version auf nur 100 Exemplare weltweit limitiert. Für Sammler und Klangpuristen ist der Moollon Treble Boost daher nicht nur ein Werkzeug, sondern ein echtes Stück Musikgeschichte.

The Treble Boost was one of the most influential effects units of the 1960s. When British rock experienced its golden era, musicians played on large stages with powerful, often multi-chained amplifier systems. In this environment, the Treble Boost was originally developed to compensate for treble losses caused by long and complex cable runs.

But it soon became clear that this pedal did more than just bring back frequencies - it gave the sound a characteristic bite that made it the central tool of British rock guitarists. The sound on Eric Clapton's early albums set standards, and artists such as Rory Gallagher and Brian May refined their sound with the Treble Boost - it became a legend among vintage aficionados.

The Moollon Limited Edition Treble Boost is based on the legendary circuit of the Dallas Rangemaster from the 1960s. Original NOS Mullard OC44 germanium transistors were used for this new edition - extremely rare components that are largely responsible for the authentic sound. The circuit is wired point-to-point, in the style of classic boutique electronics.

This model is particularly versatile thanks to the 3-way switch with Treble 1, Treble 2 and Mid modes, which address different sound ranges and thus enable a wide range of tonal applications - from a brilliant treble boost to a focused midrange boost.

Due to the limited availability of the OC44 transistors, this version is limited to just 100 units worldwide. For collectors and sound purists, the Moollon Treble Boost is therefore not just a tool, but a real piece of music history.

Die Distortion-, Volume- und Tone-Regler greifen organisch ineinander: Die Höhen nehmen zu, je stärker die Verzerrung eingestellt wird – genau wie bei klassischen Röhrenverstärkern, bei denen der Höhenanteil mit zunehmender Lautstärke steigt. The Moollon Distortion reproduces the pithy, direct distortion sound with natural overtones that you get when you turn up tube amps without master volume from the 1950s and 1960s.

The distortion, volume and tone controls interlock organically: The treble increases the more the distortion is set - just like with classic tube amps, where the treble increases with increasing volume. This allows you to achieve the typical sound of a fully turned up tube amp even at low volumes.

The integrated Moollon GW 109S Buffer Circuit minimizes hum, electrostatic interference and mechanical switching noise (popping) by converting the input signal into a low-impedance output signal.
