DISTORTION

Description

The Moollon Distortion reproduces the pithy, direct distortion sound with natural overtones that you get when you turn up tube amps without master volume from the 1950s and 1960s. The distortion, volume and tone controls interlock organically: The treble increases the more the distortion is set - just like with classic tube amps, where the treble increases with increasing volume. This allows you to achieve the typical sound of a fully turned up tube amp even at low volumes. The integrated Moollon GW 109S Buffer Circuit minimizes hum, electrostatic interference and mechanical switching noise (popping) by converting the input signal into a low-impedance output signal.
