The tone is very musical and balanced thanks to carefully matched parts in the circuit. With the four controls, you can fine-tune the phaser effect to your taste. With the rotating switch you can choose between two different phase tones, the other is a light one and the other with the big fat low end and deep tone. With The Mix control, you can adjust phaser tones from very mild into deep phase effect. Speed range and amplitude of the internal oscillator are set to allow high phaser speeds without getting erratic.

You can find classic phasing sounds at about 12 o’clock speed setting, the lower settings produce a nice floating “Vibe”- a type of sound.

Mad Professor Sweet Honey Overdrive (SHOD) is a touch sensitive low gain overdrive pedal. It is designed to overdrive distorted amplifiers and give dynamically controlled light overdrive on clean sounds.

Distortion level can be controlled by pick attack and pickup strength. Harder picking for overdrive and softer for a cleaner tone. With the unique Focus control, you can adjust the feel and dynamics of the pedal as well as overall EQ. Turning Focus CCW you need to play harder to get distortion and the tone is softer, great for jazz and blues. Focus turned CW gives a slight treble boost and earlier distortion great for classic rock.

A compact digital reverb pedal with pure-analog dry signal path, true-bypass switching, and controls for Time, Tone, and Reverb (depth), the Silver Spring proved a sparkling little performer in a range of settings. It ably subbed for a tube Fender Reverb Unit in front of a tweed-like combo for some surfy instrumentals, and worked equally well replacing a Bogner Goldfinger’s builtin spring reverb in the amp’s parallel FX loop. It doesn’t go splash when you kick it, and you might detect just a hair of pulsing in the wash of the effect’s decay, but all in all it’s a stellar sounding unit

Mighty Red Distortion is a high-gain distortion pedal, which was modeled after the 80′s style compressed gain sounds. It is extremely easy (and a lot of fun) to play because its texture is adjusted to give clarity and definition also at heavy distortion. The gain range allows also low distortion sounds as well as stacking with other pedals, where an overdrive (preferably MP LGW) can pre-drive MRD for extreme and highly focused sounds. To get these gain levels with their impressive signal to noise ratio, we didn’t use any noise gate or expander. Instead, we used special amplifier techniques and extremely low noise amplifier stages, which result in a natural decay and a rather high current consumption for a distortion pedal in view of battery operation.

Jimis originale Oktavteiler sehen nicht nach viel aus, aber diese magischen Kisten erzeugten die unvergesslichen, verwaschenen Oktavtöne, die man auf dem legendären „Band of Gypsys: Live at Fillmore East“ zu hören sind.

Kürzlich pilgerte ein Team von Dunlop-Ingenieuren nach Seattle, um einen originalen Octavio zu untersuchen und zu dokumentieren - den heiligen Gral des Oktavtons. Sie haben mit liebevoller Sorgfalt gemessen und gescannt. Das Ergebnis? Das Dunlop Jimi Hendrix Octavio ist ein exakter Klon des erstaunlichen „octave up“-Pedals, mit dem Jimi Rockgeschichte geschrieben hat. Es ist alles da: jeder Knopf und jede Buchse, ein DPDT Ein/Aus-Schalter und genau das gleiche Schaltungslayout, das originalgetreu vom „Breadboard“ kopiert wurde, Bedienelemente auf der Vorderseite, mit denen du genau die richtige Menge an Fuzz einstellen und den Gesamtpegel anpassen kannst. It’s all here: every knob and jack, a DPDT on/off switch, and the exact same circuit layout faithfully copied from the original “breadboard,” front-panel controls which let you dial in just the right amount of fuzz and adjust overall level. There is one overdrive circuit to this day has been the most talked about, the most sought after, and the most mythical of them all. It’s big, it’s expensive, and it has certainly earned its place at the table. Wampler has painstakingly and faithfully reproduced that magical tone in all its glory in an unbelievably small package, and its name is Tumnus. Tumnus is a versatile addition to any setup, any style. Stack it with another pedal to help push or shape the total amount of gain, use it as a stand alone overdrive, or use it as a slightly dirty boost to push the front end of your amp over the edge. You can even use it as a buffer, because just like the original this pedal is not true bypass. Instead, faithful to the original, this pedal contains a buffered bypass tone legendary in its own right. The Tumnus’ streamlined 3 control knobs (Volume, Gain, and Treble) allow you to quickly dial in your tones no matter what the gig calls for. We aren’t going to sit here and claim it has magical parts, or we sourced out 60 year old diodes that make it perfect, but we are going to say that during our research we looked at everything available and then only used the parts that Brian chose to replicate that amazing tone. Let’s face it, not everyone has room for a four-legged beast on their board. This smaller version slips in and out of a myriad of tight situations. Now you can have the tone. Now you can have history. Now you can have it all without having to sell your prized gear possessions. The Wampler Tumnus, standing up for that amazing tone, but without the outrageous claims often associated with it.

Der Level-Regler liegt hinter dem EQ und kann den Pegel um bis zu dem fünffachen anheben. Das EQD Tone Job eignet sich beispielsweise vorzüglich für ein Feintuning des Sounds am Ende einer Effektpedalkette. The Tone Job is a complete tone enhancement tool with EQ and Booster suitable for guitar, bass, synthesizer and more.
