The improved RockBoard® MODs V2 are simple all-in-one patchbays for RockBoard pedalboards with a new, refreshed design, and compact housing. Utilizing the MOD slot on all new RockBoards® (except the DUO series), they provide various cable connections to fit a wide variety of needs as a convenient patchbay. With the RockBoard® MODs, you can permanently connect your pedals underneath your board and organize all connections to and from your effects setup in one convenient module. The RockBoard® MODs provide a central access point from your instrument to your amp, as well as your power supply via IEC, and a 2.1 x 5.5 barrel thru power connector. The RockBoard® MOD 3 V2 is a pass-thru box designed for use by vocalists and acoustic players. The 2x XLR outputs allow you to send a stereo signal from your MOD and the 1x XLR input can be used to connect your microphone. You can also use it to run several pedals from your board through the effects loop of your amp, or simply use the MOD as a central access point to your pedalboard.

Mit ausdrucksstarker Resonanz kombinierte er sorgfältig ausgewählte Klänge und Texturen zu kraftvollen Riffs und kunstvollen Melodien. Das Cry Baby Wah, in einer festen Position als Filter verwendet, war ein zentrales Werkzeug für seinen charakteristischen Sound – ein Sound, mit dem Ronson durch seine Arbeit mit David Bowie und vielen anderen die Popmusik nachhaltig geprägt hat, sowohl als Musiker als auch als Produzent.

Wir wollten diesen einzigartigen Cry Baby Wah-Sound allen Spieler:innen zugänglich machen – mit Unterstützung des legendären Produzenten Bob Rock, einem engen Freund und Weggefährten Ronsons. Er stellte uns großzügig Ronsons eigenes Cry Baby Wah zur Verfügung – ein frühes, in Italien gefertigtes Modell, dessen Vintage-Komponenten einen unverwechselbaren Klang erzeugen. Ronson nutzte es in fester Wah-Position als Filter für viele seiner Aufnahmen. Auch Bob Rock setzte es später bei Aufnahmen mit zahlreichen Künstlern ein. Mit angepassten Spezifikationen, engeren Toleranzen und einem maßgeschneiderten Induktor haben unsere Ingenieure diesen besonderen Klang originalgetreu nachgebildet.

The Mick Ronson Cry Baby Wah taps into the vibrant, melodic character of one of rock ’n’ roll’s most gifted songwriters. Few guitar players have been able to combine a keen musical instinct with a profound grasp of how to bring a composition together like Mick Ronson. Laden with expressive resonance, his arrangements layered deliberately chosen tones and textures to build exquisite melodies and powerful riffs. The Cry Baby Wah, set in a fixed position to serve as a filter, was key to the tone-shaping vision that Ronson used to transform the face of popular music through his work with David Bowie and many others as both an artist and a producer.

We wanted to make that incredible Cry Baby Wah sound available to all players, and legendary producer Bob Rock—a friend and collaborator of Ronson’s—was there to help. He generously loaned us Ronson’s own Cry Baby Wah pedal, an early Italian-made model whose vintage components imbue it with a truly singular sound. Using it as a filter in a fixed position, Ronson recorded many tracks with this pedal, and Rock would go on to use it when recording numerous other artists. With matched specs, tightened tolerances, and a custom inductor, our engineers have recreated this truly special sound.

Layers bases its main experience off a threefold sustain effect that deals in, its namesake, layers. Three onboard sustain layers play concurrently to one another to fashion complex and interesting weaves of notes, as triggered by a variety of methods. By utilizing the dedicated footswitch, Layers can be played manually to sustain notes or remotely by playing dynamics.
