Description

The MXR MB301 Bass Synth is a sophisticated monophonic synthesizer pedal developed in collaboration with bassist Ian Martin Allison. It provides a wide array of vintage analog-style textures, ranging from thick sub-octaves and squelchy envelope filters to lush modulation. The interface features dedicated knobs for Dry/Wet mix, filter cutoff, and resonance, along with a "Voice" button for adding harmonically tuned oscillators and a "Shape" button to toggle between triangle, sawtooth, and square waveforms. A unique preset system allows users to store and recall eight different sounds, with factory settings inspired by iconic tracks from artists like Michael Jackson and Herbie Hancock. Designed for modern performance, it includes advanced features such as stereo output capability, expression pedal support, and multiple tracking modes optimized for different instruments.
