CIOKS 4 Expander is the perfect companion to CIOKS DC7 in case you would like four additional outlets with four selectable voltages on each tap (9, 12, 15 and 18V DC) which can each deliver 660mA at 9V DC. Simply connect CIOKS 4 Expander to your CIOKS DC7 via the courtesy 24V outlet and you are good to go.

But that is definitely not all – what makes CIOKS 4 Expander truly unique is the fact that you can power it with anything from 9V to 24V DC or 9V to 12V AC via the non-polarized DC socket input. Furthermore CIOKS 4 can even be powered by connecting it to a USB powerbank via its 5V USB C input or by using a tablet or laptop power supply with a USB C plug. This flexibility means that you can use CIOKS 4 Expander as a stand-alone unit and power it with almost any adapter including the 1-SPOT or GigRig Generator. Die japanische Firma Zoom ist ja allseits bekannt durch ihre zumeist sehr günstig angebotenen Effektprozessoren. Begonnen hatte alles vor gut 20 Jahren, als die damals noch junge Company mit ihren miniaturisierten Geräten, wie etwa dem Modell 9002, die Fachwelt in Staunen versetzte. Eine komplette Gitarrenvorstufe mit allen erdenklichen Effekten in der Größe einer Jumbo Zigarettenschachtel – so etwas hatte es bis dato noch nicht gegeben. Doch im Kapitalismus schläft ja die Konkurrenz bekanntlich nie und so standen die Geräte von Zoom stets mehr oder weniger im Schatten der marktbeherrschenden Firmen, allen voran natürlich BOSS oder DigiTech. Zumindest im Pro-Sektor, denn unter den „einfachen Bodentretminen“ für günstiges Geld findet man zumeist etwas Passendes im Angebot bei Zoom. Eine Art „einfache Bodentretmine“ ist auch unser heutiges Testmodell, das Zoom Multistomp MS-50G. Obwohl das vielleicht nicht ganz der Wahrheit entspricht, denn in dem unscheinbaren Gehäuse in Form und Aussehen eines einfachen Single-Effektpedals versteckt sich durchaus mehr. Zumindest mehr, als es der Preis von unter 100,- Euro vermuten lässt. Das brandneue Zoom Multistomp MS-50G nun also im Test auf Amazona.de.

Der Sadowsky SBP-1 Bass Preamp bietet Bassisten die gleiche Elektronik, die seit über 30 Jahren in jeden Sadowsky-Bass eingebaut ist. Mit der flexiblen Kombination aus Preamp und DI-Box lässt sich das Pedal im Effekt-Setup vor dem Verstärker oder um Anschluss an ein Mischpult oder die PA nutzen. Die Regelmöglichkeiten sind mit Volume, Treble und Bass bewusst einfach gehalten, dabei arbeiten Treble und Bass ausschließlich als Boost. Der SBP-1 Bass Preamp eignet sich optimal um alte Vintage Instrumente aufzuwerten, bei denen man die originale Elektronik nicht verändern möchte. Die besten Ergebnisse erzielt man mit passiven Bässen oder Schaltungen mit aktiven Tonabnehmern, in denen man die aktive Elektronik umgehen kann.

The Sadowsky SBP-1 Bass Preamp offers bassists the same electronics that has been built into every Sadowsky bass for over 30 years. With the flexible combination of preamp and DI box, the pedal can be used in the effects setup in front of the amplifier or to connect your bass directly to a mixer or the PA. The control options are kept simple with Volume, Treble and Bass, Treble and Bass only work as a boost. The SBP-1 Bass Preamp is ideal for upgrading old vintage instruments where you don't want to change the original electronics. The best results are achieved with passive basses or circuits with active pickups, where you can bypass the active electronics.

Featuring fully sweepable midrange frequencies in addition to bass and treble controls the Tone Hammer gives you studio-inspired EQ paired with a pristine D.I. for the studio and stage. To give this tone shaping unit the ultimate flexibility we introduce our proprietary Adaptive Gain Shaping circuitry (AGS). AGS allows the player to kick in an additional gain structure allowing you to go from modern tones to vintage, tube-like saturation with the stomp of a button.
