Die japanische Firma Zoom ist ja allseits bekannt durch ihre zumeist sehr günstig angebotenen Effektprozessoren. Begonnen hatte alles vor gut 20 Jahren, als die damals noch junge Company mit ihren miniaturisierten Geräten, wie etwa dem Modell 9002, die Fachwelt in Staunen versetzte. Eine komplette Gitarrenvorstufe mit allen erdenklichen Effekten in der Größe einer Jumbo Zigarettenschachtel – so etwas hatte es bis dato noch nicht gegeben. Doch im Kapitalismus schläft ja die Konkurrenz bekanntlich nie und so standen die Geräte von Zoom stets mehr oder weniger im Schatten der marktbeherrschenden Firmen, allen voran natürlich BOSS oder DigiTech. Zumindest im Pro-Sektor, denn unter den „einfachen Bodentretminen“ für günstiges Geld findet man zumeist etwas Passendes im Angebot bei Zoom. Eine Art „einfache Bodentretmine“ ist auch unser heutiges Testmodell, das Zoom Multistomp MS-50G. Obwohl das vielleicht nicht ganz der Wahrheit entspricht, denn in dem unscheinbaren Gehäuse in Form und Aussehen eines einfachen Single-Effektpedals versteckt sich durchaus mehr. Zumindest mehr, als es der Preis von unter 100,- Euro vermuten lässt. Das brandneue Zoom Multistomp MS-50G nun also im Test auf Amazona.de.

Oft kopiert aber nie erreicht, rangiert das schwer zu findende, originale, Phase 90 bei den Sammlern alter Bodentreter ganz weit oben. Das Original - seit der Gründung der Firma Dunlop bis in die späten 70er Jahre erhältlich – definierte den klassischen Phase Shifter Sound und war in allen Musikstilen zu hören, egal ob Hard Rock, Jazz-Fusion oder Funk-Hits. Der nach dem Kultpedal der Firma designte Phaser kommt puritanisch mit einem Regler aus, über den der Phaser-Speed einstellbar ist. Eine rote LED über dem stabilen Fußschalter zeigt den Schaltstatus an. Das massive Spritzgußgehäuse verfügt über jeweils 1/4" Klinke In- und Out-Eingänge. Betrieben wird der Kulttreter mit einer 9V Batterie, die in einem leicht zugänglichen Batteriefach auf der Unterseite Platz findet. Es ist erhältlich in der ursprünglichen orangenen Farbe.

Die überarbeiteten RockBoard® MODs V2 sind einfache all-in-one Patchbays für die RockBoard Pedalboard Series mit einem neuen, überarbeiteten Design und einem kompakten Gehäuse. Passend für alle neuen RockBoards® (außer der DUO-Serie) mit einem MOD-Slot, bieten sie als komfortable Patchbay verschiedene Kabelverbindungen, um eine weite Reihe von Bedürfnissen abzudecken. Mit den RockBoard® MODs kannst du deine Pedale dauerhaft unter dem Board verkabeln und alle Verbindungen zu und von deinem Effektsetup in einem praktischen Modul organisieren. Die RockBoard® MODs bieten einen zentralen Zugangspunkt vom Instrument zum Verstärker sowie eine praktische und einfache Stromversorgung des Boards über einen IEC- und einen 2,1 x 5,5 Barrel-Through-Stromanschluss. Das RockBoard® MOD 1 V2 ist eine Pass-Through-Box, die speziell für Gitarristen und Bassisten entwickelt wurde. Du kannst das MOD 1 V2 nutzen um mehrere Pedale deines Setups im Front End und im Effekt-Loop des Verstärkers zu postieren (4-Kabel Methode) oder die vier TRS-Anschlüsse als zentralen Zugang und Ausgang des Boards nutzen. The improved RockBoard® MODs V2 are simple all-in-one patchbays for RockBoard pedalboards with a new, refreshed design, and compact housing. Utilizing the MOD slot on all new RockBoards® (except the DUO series), they provide various cable connections to fit a wide variety of needs as a convenient patchbay. With the RockBoard® MODs, you can permanently connect your pedals underneath your board and organize all connections to and from your effects setup in one convenient module. The RockBoard® MODs provide a central access point from your instrument to your amp, as well as your power supply via IEC, and a 2.1 x 5.5 barrel thru power connector. The RockBoard® MOD 1 V2 is a pass-thru box especially designed for guitar and bass players. It can also be used to run several pedals from your board through the effects loop of your amp, or as a central access point to your pedalboard via its 4x TRS thru connections.
