This is the board I use in my cover band. The Cinque 5.2 is maybe too large for the pedals I use, but all in all I'm happy with this Rockboard. I added a small plastic box in the upper left corner for my picks and ear plugs. Under the board is the MOD1 and the Truetone CS12. The FS-5U is to tap-tempo the DD-7.

Was ist daran so besonders?

Die meisten E-Gitarren sind mit passiven Tonabnehmern ausgestattet und haben eine entsprechend hohe Ausgangsimpedanz. Bei Verwendung eines Gitarrenkabels von 6m oder länger geht im Höhenbereich je länger je mehr vom Gitarren-Sound verloren. Ein Puffer kompensiert diese Signalbeeinträchtigung und somit den Sound-Verlust für lange Kabel – selbst, wenn die Stimmfunktion aus ist.

Der ULTRA-BUFFER verbessert die Klangqualität im Bypass-Betrieb und erhält bei Verwendung eines langen Kabels somit den Sound, ganz gleich, ob es direkt mit dem Tuner oder zunächst mit einem komplexen Effekt-Board verbunden ist.

Der Pitchblack XS erlaubt Wechsel zwischen dem True Bypass- und dem Ultra Buffer-Modus, um in jeder Lebenslage den optimalen Sound zu erzielen.

The Pitchblack XS not only features a true bypass for outputting the sound exactly as it was input, but now includes a built-in ULTRA BUFFER.

Why is this important?

The majority of electric guitars use passive pickups with a high impedance output. When you are using a cable there is a loss of tone, usually high frequencies, after about 6 m (around 18 feet) and this problem gets worse the longer your cable. A buffer boosts the signal over long cables to avoid loss of tone, keeping it clean and clear - even when your pedal is off.

The ULTRA BUFFER enhances the sound quality in bypass mode, so that you can still maintain audio quality even when using a long cable to connect to the tuner, or when inserting the tuner into a complex effects board.

On the Pitchblack XS, you can switch between true bypass and the ULTRA BUFFER, according to your tastes and environment.

Anhand der Spezifikationen des in den 1960ern vorgestellten VOX-Pedals bietet dieses Wah-Wah denselben legendären Sound. Neu sind der Netzteilanschluss und die gepufferte Eingangsbuchse, die eine Klangfärbung des Gitarrensignals bei ausgeschaltetem Pedal verhindert. Die Induktionsspule dieses Pedals wurde ganz klar vom VOX-Original inspiriert und bietet eine entsprechend größere Dynamik und einen fetteren Sound. Based on the specifications of the VOX pedal introduced in the 1960s, this wah-wah offers the same legendary sound. New features include the power supply connection and the buffered input jack, which prevents colouration of the guitar signal when the pedal is switched off. The induction coil of this pedal was clearly inspired by the VOX original and offers correspondingly greater dynamics and a fatter sound. This new edition is especially designed for guitarists of all genres whose signal path would be incomplete without a wah pedal.

The RockBoard ISO Power Block V16 is a multi-power supply for effects pedals with 16 isolated transformers and highly filtered power slots, designed for powering up to 15 effects pedals simultaneously without any noise and charging USB devices. The advanced filtering technology used in each of the power slots prevents high frequency noise. Built with individual slot short circuit protection, connected effects pedals are protected in case of a short circuit. With a designated LED for each power slot indicating the slot is working correctly, you can quickly identify any problems without losing power to the rest of your rig.
