Oft kopiert aber nie erreicht, rangiert das schwer zu findende, originale, Phase 90 bei den Sammlern alter Bodentreter ganz weit oben. Das Original - seit der Gründung der Firma Dunlop bis in die späten 70er Jahre erhältlich – definierte den klassischen Phase Shifter Sound und war in allen Musikstilen zu hören, egal ob Hard Rock, Jazz-Fusion oder Funk-Hits. Der nach dem Kultpedal der Firma designte Phaser kommt puritanisch mit einem Regler aus, über den der Phaser-Speed einstellbar ist. Eine rote LED über dem stabilen Fußschalter zeigt den Schaltstatus an. Das massive Spritzgußgehäuse verfügt über jeweils 1/4" Klinke In- und Out-Eingänge. Betrieben wird der Kulttreter mit einer 9V Batterie, die in einem leicht zugänglichen Batteriefach auf der Unterseite Platz findet. Es ist erhältlich in der ursprünglichen orangenen Farbe.

Der Sweetheart ist ein handgefertigtes, handverdrahtetes Vintage-Preamp/Overdrive-Pedal von Paperboy Pedals mit NOS-Germanium-Transistoren, Kohleschichtwiderständen, axialen Film- und Elektrolytkondensatoren, Alpha-Potenziometern und Neutrik-Buchsen. Es liefert eine Bandbreite von farbigem Clean-Boost bis hin zu dreckiger Verstärker-ähnlicher Overdrive, je nach Pickup und Einstellung. Ein Clip-Schalter erlaubt die Auswahl zwischen Germanium-Dioden-Clipping, keinem Clipping (Boost) und Silizium-Dioden-Clipping. Der „Sweetness“-Knopf steuert das Eingangssignal (Ton wird dunkler und Verzerrung geringer, wenn heruntergedreht) und der rechte Knopf regelt die Ausgangslautstärke. Es reagiert sehr dynamisch und interaktiv, besonders mit dem Lautstärkeregler der Gitarre und den Pickups.

The Sweetheart is a handmade, hand-wired vintage-preamp/overdrive pedal from Paperboy Pedals built with NOS germanium transistors, carbon composition resistors, axial film & electrolytic capacitors, Alpha potentiometers and Neutrik jacks. It delivers everything from a clean, colorful boost to gritty amp-like overdrive depending on pickups and settings. A clip-switch allows selection between germanium diode clipping, no clipping (boost) and silicon diode clipping. The “Sweetness” knob controls input signal (darkening tone and lowering grit as it’s turned down) and the right-knob controls output volume. It is very dynamic and interactive, especially with guitar volume control and pickups.

Im Jahr 2023 veröffentlichte MOOER sein Prime Stomp S1 Multieffektpedal, das von der Kritik sehr gelobt wurde. Das Gerät erweiterte MOOERs frühere Pedalboard-Kreationen durch ein schlankeres, leichteres und vor allem wiederaufladbares Design. Jetzt sorgt das Unternehmen erneut für Aufsehen mit dem Prime Minimax M1, einem modernisierten Pedal, das nicht nur für E-Gitarristen, sondern auch für Bassisten die Funktionalität verbessert. 
Das Prime Minimax M1 enthält 149 hochwertige Effektmodelle in 10 Bänken, von denen jede 4 Patches enthält. Diese beinhalten Verstärker- und Boxensimulationen, Overdrives, Dynamik-, Modulations-, Delay-, Reverb- und EQ-Effekte sowie freie User-Slots. Besonders erwähnenswert ist jedoch, dass 20 der Verstärker- und Boxensimulationen speziell für Bassisten zusammengestellt wurden, was zeigt, dass MOOER sich der Unterstützung dieser weiteren Zielgruppe verschrieben hat. 
Wie das Prime Stomp S1 und andere MOOER-Multi-Effekt-Pedale wird auch das Prime Minimax M1 von der MOOER Cloud unterstützt, einer hochmodernen Plattform für die gemeinsame Nutzung von Presets. Damit können Gitarristen nicht nur ihre M1-Lieblingskreationen über die Bluetooth-kompatible MOOER Prime-App anpassen und mit anderen teilen, sondern auch IR-Dateien von Drittanbietern mit bis zu 512pts importieren. Dadurch werden die 149 eingebauten Effekte erheblich erweitert, und die Benutzer können ihre bevorzugten klassischen Verstärker, Boxen und Sounds simulieren, unabhängig davon, ob sie diese online heruntergeladen oder die IRs selbst aufgenommen haben.
Um das Üben und Spielen auf der Gitarre in einem Gerät zu vereinen, verfügt das M1 auch über eine eingebaute Drum Machine mit 40 verschiedenen Drum-Grooves und 10 Metronomen. Dies geht Hand in Hand mit dem 80-Sekunden-Looper, mit dem Gitarristen E-Gitarren- und E-Bass-Phrasen aufzeichnen, wiedergeben und mit einfachen Fußtastendrücken overduben können. Der Looper kann sogar automatisch durch eine Signalerkennung ausgelöst werden, so dass die Loops immer perfekt beginnen und einen perfekten Loop bilden. Darüber hinaus kann der Looper auch mit der Drum Machine synchronisiert werden, so dass eine Kombination aus beiden eine All-in-One-Suite für das Songwriting ergibt.
Anstelle der vier Fußschalter des Prime Stomp S1 verfügt das Minimax M1 über nur zwei Fußschalter, was ein kompakteres und schlankeres Design ermöglicht. Jeder Fußschalter ist multifunktional und unterstützt eine Vielzahl von Aufgaben, wie z. B. das Durchsuchen von Preset-Slots, das Auslösen von Loop-Aufnahmen, das Aktivieren des eingebauten Tuners, die Tap-Tempo-Funktion und die Interaktion mit der Drum Machine. Der Status und die Informationen dieser Funktionen werden auf dem LED-Display des Geräts angezeigt, zusammen mit Anzeigen für die Bluetooth-Aktivierung, den Ladezustand, die Batterielebensdauer und den Status des Fußschalters. Zusätzlich sind zwei Tasten vorhanden - eine zum Aktivieren der Drum Machine und eine weitere zum Einschalten des Geräts.
Im Gegensatz zu MOOERs aktuellem Flaggschiff, dem GE1000 Li, liegt der Schwerpunkt der Prime-Serie auf Tragbarkeit und Kompaktheit. Mit einem Gewicht von nur 190 g und einer Länge von 12 cm passt das Minimax M1 bequem in jeden Rucksack und in die meisten Taschen und erleichtert das Üben und Spielen unterwegs. Außerdem kann die 2000mAh-Lithiumbatterie des M1 über USB aufgeladen werden. Dank der Mobilität des Geräts können Gitarristen dieses Multieffektpedal also wirklich überall und jederzeit einsetzen.
MOOERs Ruf, flexible Audio-Routing-Optionen zu bieten, wird durch das Design der Ein- und Ausgänge des Prime Minimax M1 unterstrichen. Natürlich stehen der übliche 6,35 mm Mono-Eingang und 6,35 mm Stereo-Ausgang zur Verfügung, ebenso wie der 3,5 mm Ausgang für Kopfhörerübungen und Monitoring. Es sind jedoch noch weitere Optionen verfügbar, wie z. B. Bluetooth 5.0-Unterstützung für die Audiowiedergabe, die es Benutzern ermöglicht, Audio von einem anderen Gerät zu streamen, um damit zu spielen. Der USB-C-Anschluss des Geräts kann sogar für OTG-Aufnahmen verwendet werden, sodass Nutzer ihre Kreationen direkt in der MOOER Prime Mobile App aufnehmen können. 
Insgesamt ist das Prime Minimax M1 ein weiterer willkommener Zugewinn in der Reihe der Multieffektpedale des Pedalherstellers. Vor allem markiert es eine neue Stufe der Portabilität in MOOERs Geräteportfolio und zeigt, wie viel Funktionalität das Entwicklerteam in ein so kleines Gehäuse packen kann.

The device expanded on MOOER’s previous pedalboard creations, applying a more sleek, lightweight, and, most importantly, chargeable design. Now, the company is turning heads once again with the Prime Minimax M1, an upgraded device that improves functionality not only for electric guitarists, but for bassists too. 
Packed inside the Prime Minimax M1 are 149 high-quality effect models across 10 banks, each of which contains 4 patches. These include amp and cabinet simulations and overdrives, along with dynamic, modulation, delay, reverb, and EQ effects, as well as empty user slots. Most notably, though, 20 of the amp and cabinet simulations have been curated specifically for bass guitarists, showing MOOER’s dedication to providing support for this additional audience. 
As with the Prime Stomp S1 and other recent MOOER multi-effects pedals, the Prime Minimax M1 is supported by the MOOER Cloud, a cutting-edge framework for preset sharing. Not only does this allow guitarists to customize and share their favorite M1 creations via the Bluetooth-compatible MOOER Prime app, but it also supports the importing of third-party IR files of up to 512pts. As a result, the 149 built-in effects are greatly expanded, with users able to simulate their favorite classic amplifiers, cabinets, and tones, whether they have downloaded them online or recorded the IRs themselves.
Taking an all-in-one approach to guitar practice and performance, the M1 also includes a built-in drum machine, complete with 40 different drum grooves and 10 metronomes. This goes hand-in-hand with the 80-second looper, with which guitarists can record electric and bass guitar phrases, play them back, and overdub them, all with simple footswitch presses. The looper can even be triggered automatically through signal detection, ensuring that loops always begin perfectly to form a perfect loop. Moreover, the looper can also be synced with the drum machine, a combination of which results in an all-in-one suite for songwriting.
Rather than the four footswitches found on the Prime Stomp S1, the Minimax M1 features just two footswitches, facilitating a more compact and streamlined design. Each footswitch is multi-functional, supporting a variety of tasks, such as browsing preset slots, triggering loop recordings, activating the device’s built-in tuner, the tap tempo functionality, and interacting with the drum machine. The status and information of these features are visualized through the device’s LED screen, along with indicators for Bluetooth activation, charging, battery life, and footswitch status. Two buttons are also provided–one to activate the drum machine and another for the device’s power toggle.
In contrast to MOOER’s recent flagship device, the GE1000 Li, the Prime series focuses heavily on portability and compactness. Weighing up at just 190g and 12cm in length, the Minimax M1 can fit comfortably into any backpack and most pockets, facilitating on-the-go guitar practice and performance. To add to this convenience, the M1 can be charged by USB through its built-in 2000mAh lithium battery. As a result, with the device's portability, guitarists can truly use this multi-effect pedal anywhere, anytime.
Continuing MOOER’s reputation for providing flexible audio routing options, the design of the Prime Minimax M1 inputs and outputs are varied. Of course, the usually ¼” mono input and ¼” stereo output are available, as well as the 3.5mm output for headphone practice and monitoring. However, further options are available, such as Bluetooth 5.0 support for audio playback, allowing users to stream audio from another device to play along with. The device’s USB-C port can even be used for OTG recording, allowing users to record their creations directly into the MOOER Prime mobile app. 
Overall, the Prime Minimax M1 is yet another welcome addition to the pedal producer’s range of multi-effects pedals. In particular, it marks a new level of portability for MOOER’s device portfolio, showing just how much functionality its design team can pack into such a small box.
