Der Patchbay-Teil dient dazu, Verbindungen von unterhalb deines Pedalboards nach vorne zu leiten, um dir einen zentralen Zugangspunkt zu deinem Setup zu geben und deinen Kabelsalat aufzuräumen. Für geräuschloses Üben auf der Straße bietet der MOD 5 auch einen Kopfhörerverstärker mit einstellbarer Ausgangslautstärke.

The RockBoard® MOD 5 Cab SIM + DI Patchbay offers customizable, IR-based stereo speaker cabinet simulation, an active DI box, as well as a simple solution to organize all the connections to and from your effects setup. Whether you are using a RockBoard® or any other brand pedalboard - the MOD 5 will open completely new possibilities. The speaker cab simulation & DI let's you go direct, providing YOUR sound, whatever backline is being provided at the venue you're playing. Do you want to use your favorite cab? No problem, load an impulse response of its sound into the MOD 5 and you have it with you, wherever you go. The patchbay part is designed to route connections from underneath your pedalboard to its front, in order to give you a central access point to your setup and tidy up your connections. For silent and on the road practicing, the MOD 5 also provides a headphone amplifier with adjustable output volume.

Low gain overdrive, working great with all kinds of amplifiers and pasting itself great on every Channel. 
The circuit is based on  Class A preamplifier BURR BROWN  which allows serious amounts of sustain and at the same time ensures a high level of dynamics and a low amount of hum.

CLEAN channel –  gets a beautiful creamy and juicy crunch, that melts in your ears like a chocolate bar in your mouth.

DRIVE channels – it's great for boosting, wide and juicy drive with a lot of midrange tones, without cutting the low edge.

Vanilla Sky Overdrive was made to create an effect, which would retain it's dynamics, and allow the guitar individual tone to shine through even at the highest GAIN settings. A complete analog signal line helps achieve a rich, and organic sound.

MLC Blood Omen is built on the flagship MLC ‘Vanilla Sky’ effect, which was a crucial addition for guitarists Tommy Gentry & George Harris when producing The Raven Age’s 3rd studio album ‘Blood Omen’. Together with Kemper, this enabled the band to develop an incredible sound that is emphasised across all the mid-range frequencies.

The vision for this pedal was to create an effect that would retain its dynamics and allow the guitar's individual sound to shine even at the highest GAIN settings. The all-analog signal line helps produce a rich and organic sound.  The circuit is based on the class A BURR BROWN preamp, which allows for serious reverberation, while ensuring a high level of dynamics and low level of hum.

Blood Omen

MLC ANIMAL – classical tube driver, inspired by David Gilmour of Pink Floyd. The first  version was build for Maciej Meller of RIVERSIDE special for WASTELAND TOUR 2018/2019, where we can listening in solo RIVER DOWN BELOW. This is a booster/overdrive pedal with an IC and vacuum tube ( TAD MULLARD style 12AX7 )  driven preamp circuit inside. We can get a smooth, light overdrive tone, to a classic rock-style heavy distortion.

At high gain, it is like a lead crunch tone of a Marshall JCM800 ampliﬁer. Inside is a hybrid fuzz – pre amp circuit. The hard clipping part of the distortion comes from the integrated Class A preamplifier BURR BROWN OPA2134. That strong signal is fed into a vacuum um tube TAD 12AX7 MULLARD STYLE, which does not work to amplify the signal as it would in the pre amp stage of a typical ampliﬁer but It ﬁlters and colors the sound with the tube characteristics.

Animal

MARK L MLC Brown Sugar dynamic overdrive equipped in four-position clipping mod for different harmonic sound tuning and with audiophile Class A preamplifier – OPA2134 at drive stage, is great for crunchy rhythm and a nice thick bluesy lead. The sound is very much like an overdriven vintage valve amp.

Input of this device is the universally acclaimed High Impedance, Unity Gain, Class A, Buffer Preamp with it’s superior RFI rejecting capability (to eliminate Radio Station interference) and Low Impedance Audio output, allowing the use of extended cable runs from Brown Sugar pedal in bypass mode.
