The Lusithand Alma Compressor is inspired by the legendary Diamond BCP-1 compressor and Diamond Bass Compressor JR. Like the Diamond BCP-1/Bass Compressor JR, the Alma is an optical compression engine with some definite improvements.

The Ground & Pound has been designed to combine the two pedals that Justin Chancellor uses to help achieve his signature distorted tone, the Turbo Rat with the Bass EQ, and it successfully combines them into a single box with a very compact and easy to use control layout.

We’ve also added a blend control, labelled ‘Mix‘,  which has a very musical compression ratio (2:1) on the clean signal. This mixes very well with the distorted sound and just adds to the overall playing experience.

Neptunium is, as its name implies, based on the Nobelium preamp, which is in turn based on the incredible Noble preamp. The key feature of Nobelium is the XLR D.I. output, which only uses one tube, so I was asked if it would be possible to squeeze just that part into a much smaller enclosure. The result is Neptunium.

Neptunium is a great-sounding, simple to use tube preamp with a D.I. output for going straight to front of house or a recording interface. It features a two-band tonestack based on the classic Fender/Marshall/Vox tonestack. Both controls are boost-only, so a “flat” response is achieved with both controls all the way off.

One way in which Neptunium differs from the Noble preamp is in volume controls; the volume control on the face affects the 1/4″ output, but rather than make the XLR output a fixed level, a separate volume control affecting the XLR output was added to the side of the pedal next to the XLR jack above the ground lift switch.

Der Lusithand Devices F1 Studio Filter Preamp ist ein hochentwickeltes Werkzeug zur Klangformung, das auf der Filtertopologie der NFP-Serie (New Filter Preamp) des Unternehmens basiert. Er verfügt über zwei unabhängige, mischbare Filter, die darauf ausgelegt sind, die Resonanzspitzen-Charakteristiken ikonischer Bässe wie Alembic und Wal nachzubilden. The Lusithand Devices F1 Studio Filter Preamp is a sophisticated tone-sculpting tool based on the filter topology of the company’s NFP (New Filter Preamp) series. It features two independent, blendable filters designed to replicate the resonant peak characteristics of iconic basses like Alembic and Wal. The first filter sweeps from 50Hz to 6kHz with selectable Low-Pass or High-Pass modes, while the second sweeps from 120Hz to 4kHz with Low-Pass or Band-Pass options. Each filter includes a dedicated Resonance (RES) control to adjust the sharpness of the frequency peak from flat to highly boosted. An internal voltage doubler provides 36V of internal headroom when used with an 18V supply, ensuring high-fidelity signal processing without unwanted clipping.

The Alma Compressor MKII is an evolution of it’s predecessor; it retains all its original elements such as an internal voltage doubling circuit, and a Clean control to be blended with the compressed signal.

As a highlight, the new features of the MKII are a Ratio switch, allowing the user to select between 2:1, 4:1 and 8:1 compression Ratios, as well as a visual indication of how much compression is being applied to the input signal.
