Description

The Fuzz 50 is a minimalist boutique fuzz pedal designed to capture the classic response of a vintage Fuzz Face circuit in a compact format. It features a single control knob that functions primarily as an output volume control, with the internal gain and bias fixed at a high-saturation setting. The circuit is engineered to be highly responsive to a guitar's volume pot, allowing the user to transition from aggressive, harmonically rich fuzz to "glassy" clean tones directly from the instrument. While it utilizes silicon components for increased reliability and aggression compared to germanium units, it maintains the smooth cleanup characteristics associated with early 1960s designs. The pedal is housed in a small-footprint chassis with high-quality components and true bypass switching.
