Description
This compact passive volume control acts as an "anti-booster," reducing the signal level to a user-defined value rather than amplifying it. It is designed to function like a guitar's volume knob on a footswitch, allowing a single-channel overdriven amplifier to be toggled into a cleaner secondary channel. The circuit features an integrated, adjustable treble-bleed control via a mini-potentiometer to ensure high-frequency clarity remains intact at lower volumes. Its high-impedance design makes it ideal for placement first in the signal chain, especially before vintage-style fuzz pedals. The pedal is completely passive, requiring power only for the status LED, and features a true bypass footswitch for transparent operation.
