The Doom was created as an alter ego of the Ghost pedal. It allows you to automate or manually control the crossfade between two input signals, rather than the stereo output of a mono signal.

The output wave can be a blend of anything from two fuzz pedals to multiple pedal chains or even separate instruments being played simultaneously.

Doom

If you are looking for a tremolo with a standard LFO and a classic vibe this might not be what you're after. We've aimed to maximise the potential of the design interaction while keeping the interface as simplified as possible for live use. With later versions and in modified units this was expanded again through an OLED display.  

While experimenting on your own it's possible to explore the spontaneity of the waves you draw by combining them different modes and I/O jack preferences. 

If your favourite modulation effect has CV or 0-5V expression control, you can use a Lightning Wave pedal as a controller to cover new ground, for example, by keeping it in time with the trigger signal of another device like a synthesizer or drum machine.
