Ein Organismus, der aus rauen, komprimierten Reibungsfusseln wächst. Die körnige Natur des Awkward Breed entwickelt sich mit deinem Input. Tonabnehmer mit hoher Ausgangsleistung sorgen für einen dicken, langen Sustain, während ein niedrigerer Tonabnehmerausgang ein kürzeres, stakkatoartiges Fuzz liefert, das an eine sterbende Batterie erinnert. In Verbindung mit einer Bassgitarre lassen sich auch synthieähnliche Texturen erzeugen.

Der Awkward Breed ist ein artikulierter Fuzz, dessen Sustain von der Eingangslautstärke abhängt. Höhere Ausgangs-Tonabnehmer und härteres Picking führen zu einem dickeren, längeren Sustain, während eine Verringerung der Eingangslautstärke durch Tonabnehmer mit geringerer Ausgangsleistung oder ein Zurückdrehen des Lautstärkereglers der Gitarre dazu führt, dass der Awkward Breed einen Fuzz-Ton mit kürzerem Abklingen und sogar stotternden Sounds einer sterbenden Batterie erzeugt.

An organism grown from rough, compressed friction fuzz. The Awkward Breed's grainy nature develops with your input. High output pick-ups will give you a thick long sustain, whereas a lower pick-up output offers a shorter staccato style fuzz, reminiscent of a dying battery. It's also capable of synth like textures when used with a bass guitar.

The Awkward Breed is an articulate fuzz that has a variable sustain based on the input volume. Higher output pickups and harder picking will result in a thicker longer sustain where as reducing the input volume by having lower output pickups or rolling your guitars volume knob back a little will cause the Awkward Breed to produce a fuzz tone with a shorter decay and even spluttery dying battery sounds.

Awkward Breed

Eine erschütternde Vision.

Der LIFE IS UNFAIR Pale Spectre ist ein Effektpedal mit drei Modi. Der erste Modus ist ein perkussiver Tremolo-Sound mit Vintage-Voice, aber ohne den Lautstärkeabfall, den man normalerweise mit diesem Effekt verbindet, dank des zusätzlichen Level-Reglers. Der zweite Modus ist ein Clean-Boost, der sich perfekt eignet, um den Eingang deines Verstärkers oder eines Fuzz-Pedals zu pushen. Der letzte Modus ist der Heterodyne-Modulator-Modus. In diesem Modus wird der LFO in die Audiofrequenzen gepresst, was dem Pale Spectre erlaubt, eine Vielzahl von zusätzlichen seltsamen und wundervollen Klängen zu erzeugen, wie z.B. Ringmodulation und sogar Oktav-Sounds.

A shuddering vision.

The LIFE IS UNFAIR Pale Spectre is a three in one effects pedal. The first mode is a vintage voiced percussive tremolo sound but without the volume drop commonly associated with this effect thanks to the addition of the level control. The second mode is a clean boost, perfect for pushing the input of your amp or a fuzz pedal. The final mode is the heterodyne modulator mode, in this mode the lfo is pushed into audio frequencies which allows the Pale Spectre to produce a variety of extra weird and wonderful sounds such as ring modulating and even octave sounds.

The Synaptic Cleft tremolo unit offers previously unseen neurochemical tethering options to the world of volume modulation. 3.5mm patch points open up the circuit to be connected with the world beyond effects pedals to allow for a boundless plethora of sounds.

BAD MACHINE is a multi-function boost, overdrive and fuzz unit designed in collaboration between LIFE IS UNFAIR Audio Devices & Mike Cunniff of the band BOSTON MANOR. GangGang Vibes!

Featuring independently switchable boost and fuzz circuits. Bypass switching is latching by default but either channel can be set to momentary operation via internal dip switches.
