Das KSR EROS ist ein vielseitiges Boost/EQ-Pedal mit gestapelten internen Verstärkungsstufen, die das Verhalten von Röhrenverstärkern nachahmen. Es ist als Clean-Boost, zum Hinzufügen von Grit oder zum Erzeugen von Verzerrungen konzipiert und eignet sich daher, um jeden Verstärker anzutreiben, insbesondere bei tiefer gestimmten oder Extended-Range-Gitarren. Das Pedal verfügt über einen aktiven 3-Band-EQ für präzise Klangformung, und seine Feel- und Mode-Schalter ermöglichen weitere Klangvariationen, von Tight und Fat bis hin zu Clean, Clip und Dirt. Es ist kein typischer Tube Screamer-ähnlicher Boost und wurde entwickelt, um sehr interaktiv mit Ihrem Verstärker zu sein.

Overview
It’s not your typical boost. It will boost clean without overdrive, add a little grit, or add distortion. It has a 3-band active EQ for precision sculpting.

Use it in front to add volume or grit to a clean or crunch channel. Or, sculpt your amp’s distortion response, as you would with a typical boost. However, you’re no longer limited to a narrow frequency range dictated by a single tone control found on a lot of classic boosts.

Similarly, use it before or after the Ceres for even more control over its tones, and in order to get the most out of it based on your power amp situation.

Setup Notes
This is not “just another TS style boost,” therefore it should not be setup in that way. e.g. don’t crank the Level and cut the Gain. Start with both at noon and go from there. The Feel (tight/fat/thick) and Mode (clean/clip/dirt) switches will lose effectiveness the lower the Gain control is set.

Further, the higher Level is cranked the more internal distortion can be generated in the last gain stage, and therefore it will add distortion within the Eros coupled with a higher Gain setting. With a lower Gain setting the last stage will remain unclipped, but a huge signal will slam the front end of any amp. This can be too large a signal to achieve your desired sound. e.g. too much saturation due to lack of headroom in the amp’s first stage.

In short, all the controls will interact, and there are countless ways you can run this pedal. Please experiment and share your results!!
