Die Merkmale seines sehr fleischigen und gleichzeitig virtuosen Spiels beinhalten, neben viel Gain, auch ständig eingewobene Harmonics, die immer einen gewissen 80er Touch vermitteln. Wer Mr. Wylde kennt, der hat sicher auch direkt dessen schickes Les Paul Signature Modell mit der charakteristischen Bullseye-Lackierung vor Augen.

Das EarthQuaker Devices Ghost Echo ist ein Vintage-Reverb-Gerät, das entwickelt wurde, um den atmosphärischen Charakter klassischer röhrenbetriebener Federhall-Einheiten zu emulieren. Diese analog-digitale Hybrid-Schaltung nutzt einen einzigartigen Pre-Delay-Bereich von 30 ms bis 150 ms, um alles von subtiler Raumatmosphäre bis hin zu tiefen, höhlenartigen Echos zu erzeugen. Durch die Trennung des ersten Anschlags vom verhallten Signal ermöglicht es präzise Slapback-Töne, die bei schnellem Spiel artikuliert bleiben. Die aktuelle V3-Version verfügt über verbesserte Operationsverstärker für einen geringeren Rauschanteil und einen neu kalibrierten Dwell-Regler, der zur Selbstoszillation fähig ist. Eine spezielle Zusammenarbeit mit dem Kreativstudio Brain Dead führte zu einer limitierten Edition mit individuellem, psychedelischem Artwork.

The EarthQuaker Devices Ghost Echo is a vintage-voiced reverb unit designed to emulate the haunted, atmospheric character of classic amp-top spring tanks. This analog/digital hybrid circuit utilizes a unique pre-delay range of 30ms to 150ms to create everything from subtle room ambiance to deep, cavernous echoes. By separating the initial attack from the reverberated signal, it allows for distinct slapback tones that remain articulate during fast playing. The current V3 iteration features upgraded op-amps for a lower noise floor and a recalibrated dwell control capable of reaching self-oscillation. A specialized collaboration with the creative studio Brain Dead resulted in a limited edition version featuring custom psychedelic artwork.
