Kompression gleicht Lautstärkeunterschiede aus, indem laute Töne abgesenkt und leise angehoben werden. Über den Attack-Regler des CS-3 legst du fest, wie schnell die Schaltung diese Anpassung vornimmt. Durch das Drehen im Uhrzeigersinn bleiben Saitenanschläge stärker erhalten und sorgen für einen knackigeren, perkussiven Klang. Je mehr du den Regler gegen den Uhrzeigersinn drehst, desto mehr werden die Signalspitzen abgesenkt. Der Sustain-Regler steuert die Stärke der Kompression und sorgt für einen straffen Sound und ein natürliches Sustain ohne Verzerrungen.
Das CS-3 basiert auf einer leistungsfähigen VCA-Schaltung, die eine stabile und gleichmäßige Kompression mit minimalem Grundrauschen ermöglicht. Mit seinem charakteristischen, ausgewogenen Ansprech- und Kompressionsverhalten sorgt das Pedal für einen transparenten Klang über alle Spielstile hinweg. Ob knackige Country-Licks, druckvolle Power-Chords oder singende Soli – das CS-3 überzeugt als unverzichtbares Werkzeug für einen besseren Sound.
Mit dem Tone-Regler wird das CS-3 noch vielseitiger. Hierüber kontrollierst du den EQ des komprimierten Signals. Stärkere Einstellungen betonen die hohen Frequenzen und für einen schärferen, schneidenden Sound – perfekt für glockenklare Arpeggi, funkige Rhythmen und Passagen, die besonders herausstechen sollen. Je mehr du den Regler zurückdrehst, desto softer werden die Höhen, was einen warmen, weicheren Sound erzeugt, der sich besonders für Genre wie Jazz und Neo Soul eignet. Ganz egal, ob du eine Extraportion Biss oder Samt benötigst – mit dem CS-3 kannst du deinen Sound flexibel an deine Musik anpassen.

Compression evens out volume differences by lowering loud sounds and raising quiet ones. The CS-3's Attack knob lets you set how quickly the circuit makes this adjustment. Turning it clockwise preserves string attacks more strongly and creates a crisper, more percussive sound. The more you turn the knob counterclockwise, the more the signal peaks are reduced. The sustain knob controls the strength of the compression and ensures a tight sound and natural sustain without distortion.
The CS-3 is based on a powerful VCA circuit that provides stable and consistent compression with minimal noise. With its characteristic balanced response and compression characteristics, the pedal delivers transparent sound across all playing styles. Whether crisp country licks, powerful power chords, or singing solos, the CS-3 is an indispensable tool for better sound.
The tone control makes the CS-3 even more versatile. It lets you control the EQ of the compressed signal. Stronger settings emphasize the high frequencies and create a sharper, more cutting sound—perfect for crystal-clear arpeggios, funky rhythms, and passages that need to stand out. The more you turn the control back, the softer the highs become, creating a warm, softer sound that is particularly suitable for genres such as jazz and neo soul. Whether you need an extra dose of bite or velvet, the CS-3 lets you flexibly adapt your sound to your music.

Das Jessup Amps Kenny Hickey Signature Chorus ist ein handgefertigtes, vollständig analoges Chorus-Pedal, das in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Type O Negative-Gitarristen Kenny Hickey entworfen wurde. Es verfügt über eine Parallel-Mix-Schaltung, die es dem Benutzer ermöglicht, den Chorus-Effekt mit einem verzerrten Signal zu mischen, einem Schlüsselelement von Hickeys charakteristischem Sound. Die intuitive Steuerung des Pedals umfasst Regler für Depth, Rate und Mix sowie interne Trimpots für Bass und Treble.  The Jessup Amps Kenny Hickey Signature Chorus is a handmade, all-analog chorus pedal designed in collaboration with Type O Negative guitarist Kenny Hickey. It features a parallel mix circuit that allows the user to blend the chorus effect with a distorted signal, a key element of Hickey's signature tone. The pedal's intuitive controls include Depth, Rate, and Mix, along with internal trimpots for Bass and Treble. The "silkscreen" version refers to a specific batch without the laser-cutout Type O Negative logo, instead featuring a screen-printed green logo. It is built in a rugged cold-rolled steel enclosure and uses MN3102 and MN3207 integrated circuits.
