The improved RockBoard® MODs V2 are simple all-in-one patchbays for RockBoard pedalboards with a new, refreshed design, and compact housing. Utilizing the MOD slot on all new RockBoards® (except the DUO series), they provide various cable connections to fit a wide variety of needs as a convenient patchbay. With the RockBoard® MODs, you can permanently connect your pedals underneath your board and organize all connections to and from your effects setup in one convenient module. The RockBoard® MODs provide a central access point from your instrument to your amp, as well as your power supply via IEC, and a 2.1 x 5.5 barrel thru power connector. The RockBoard® MOD 3 V2 is a pass-thru box designed for use by vocalists and acoustic players. The 2x XLR outputs allow you to send a stereo signal from your MOD and the 1x XLR input can be used to connect your microphone. You can also use it to run several pedals from your board through the effects loop of your amp, or simply use the MOD as a central access point to your pedalboard.

Der Iron Horse V2 ist eine Rückkehr zum klassischen Verzerrer: dick, druckvoll, riffig und rüpelhaft. Das True-Bypass-High-Gain-Ungetüm wurde aktualisiert, um den Hengst zu lenken oder die Zügel für einen voll verzerrten Ansturm loszulassen. Wenn man den Gain zurückdreht, kann man ihn als dicken, warmen Overdrive verwenden. Das Iron Horse verfügt über drei Verzerrungsmodi, die mit einem Kippschalter zwischen verschiedenen Clipping-Dioden umgeschaltet werden können, um den Ton der Verzerrung noch vielseitiger zu gestalten. Links wird etwas Kompression erzeugt. Rechts wird eine stärkere Kompression erzeugt und in der Mitte wird ein weit offenes, nicht komprimiertes Signal erzeugt.

The Halloween tradition continues with the 2018 limited Iron Horse V2 Illustrated by Andrey Pridybaylo. Inspired by the mythological creature Cerberus, or the “Hound of Hades", this beastly creature will compliment the fiercest of down-tuned riffs you can throw at it. 
 

The Iron Horse V2 is a return to the classic distortion: thick, punchy, riffy and rowdy. The true bypass, high gain behemoth has been updated to help steer the stallion or let the reins loose for full on distorted onslaught. Dial back the gain and it can be used as a thick, warm overdrive. The Iron Horse has three distortion modes operated by a toggle switch that changes between different clipping diodes providing more versatility in shaping the tone of the distortion. Left will give some compression. Right will give you a higher amount of compression and middle will give you a wide open, non compressed signal.
 

The Iron Horse V2 updates are as follows:
- Updated the Level control so that it is easier to dial in unity gain. 
- Updated the Tone control to allow more treble to be dialed in if desired. 
- Updated Distortion control to smooth out the range of distortion making it easier to dial in lower gain tones.
 

The Iron Horse V2 comes in a Galaxy Gold finish with black ink. Artwork by illustrator Adam Forster features a new battle ready stallion cloaked in armor.

The pedal allows for any combination of its five delay engines with any of its seven reverb effects and has dedicated ON/OFF switches for each effect. Denk nichts Schmutziges … Und so weiter und so fort. „Sauber bleiben“ scheint jedermanns Motto zu sein. Nun – all dem wollen wir heute ein Ende setzen. Richtig gehört. Es ist die Zeit, die Ärmel hochzukrempeln. Denn es wird schmutzig. Wir reden von Dreck unter den Nägeln, Ölflecken auf Flanellhemden und Teppichen, die nie wieder jemand sauber kriegen wird. Und wo ist die Quelle all dieser sinistren Schmuddelei? Nun, gleich hier: EQD hat den legendären Dirt Transmitter™ Fuzz Driver wieder zum Leben erweckt!
Ja; Sie haben sich nicht verhört. In der Entwicklungsgeschichte von EarthQuaker Devices war der Dirt Transmitter das zweite von vielen bemerkenswerten Fuzz-Pedalen aus der Werkstatt von Jamie Stillman – und bis heute gilt er als eine seiner besten und interessantesten Kreationen. Viele bekannte Musiker und eine eingeschworene Fangemeinde hat sich dem Dirt Transmitter verschrieben. Ein Jammer, dass dieses Ausnahmepedal lange Zeit nicht zu haben war. Ein Glück, dass sich das nun ändert! Sein Aufbau ist denkbar einfach: Level, Fuzz, Tone und Bias – dieses Pedal ist wirklich einfach zu bedienen, und man wird kaum eine Konfiguration finden, in der es nicht total abgeht. Also – weg mit dem Handdesinfektionsmittel und rein in dieses herrliche Sound-Schlammbad.
Das süße, nun, wohl eher dreckige Geheimnis dieses Pedals liegt in seinen Silizium-Transistoren, die eine knackige Ansprache in den Höhen und mehr Gain als typische Germanium-Transistoren bieten. Dies ermöglicht eine bissige Schärfe und einen insgesamt runderen Sound, der bei starker Verzerrung nicht umkippt. Sie können den Dirt Transmitter Gain-lastig einstellen und ihn permanent aktiv lassen, um einen tollen, durchsetzungsfähigen Sound zu erzeugen. Sein klangliches Spektrum reicht von Overdrive bis Fuzz, ohne dass der Sound jemals charakterlos wird. Das ist die Macht des Siliziums.
Wenn Sie sich mit dem Dirt Transmitter den perfekten Fuzz-Sound maßschneidern, spielt der Bias-Regler die entscheidende Rolle. Dieser Regler entzieht den Transistoren faktisch Strom, wodurch sich die GateCharakteristik des Sounds ändert. Und damit steht Ihnen das volle Spektrum von Velcro-Fuzz-Varianten bis hin zu Analogsynthesizer-Reminiszenzen zur Verfügung. Wenn Sie den Bias-Regler bis zum rechten Anschlag drehen, sind die Transistoren korrekt vorgespannt. Wenn Sie ihn etwas zurücknehmen, wird der Fuzz-Sound eher „sämig“, mit stärkerem Gating.
Mit dem Tone-Regler können Sie den Höhenanteil des Signals und die gesamte harmonische Kontur formen. Drehen Sie ihn nach rechts, wenn Sie einen brillanten, durchdringenden Sound für Soli und Lead-Riffs brauchen. Drehen Sie ihn nach links, wenn Sie sattes Sustain, aber weniger Höhen wollen. Und nun ein Wort an unsere tieffrequenten Freunde: Wir wissen, dass auch im bravsten Bassisten ein Schmutzfink wohnt, der gerne mal raus will. Fühlen Sie sich angesprochen? Dann sollten Sie dieses Pedal pronto in Ihr Effekt-Arsenal integrieren, denn es ist sich wirklich für nichts zu schade: von der sprichwörtlichen Schippe Dreck auf den cleanen Basis-Sound über düstere Fuzz-Effekte bis zur völligen klanglichen Verwahrlosung.

Hey there, pedal pal! You know how you’re always getting nagged to clean up everything? Clean your house, clean your car, clean up your attitude, clean the dishes, clean up your diet…it goes on and on. Well, we’re here to put an end to that. That’s right, it’s time to roll up your sleeves and get dirty. We’re talking mud under your nails, grimy shirt stains, carpets-damaged-beyond-repair dirty. And what’s the reason for this filthy proclamation, you ask? Here it is: EQD has brought back the legendary Dirt Transmitter™ Fuzz Driver! 
That’s right! Originally created as the second in a very long line of EarthQuaker Devices fuzz pedals, this early circuit went on to become regarded as one of creator Jamie Stillman’s best and most interesting fuzz creations. Used for years by your favorite musicians and a cult following of Dirt Transmitter™ fanatics, this effect has been out of EQD’s lineup for some time…until now! Laid out simply with four knobs: Level, Fuzz, Tone, and Bias, this thing is easy to use, and you’d be hard pressed to find a setting that doesn’t totally rip. So put away that hand sanitizer and dig into this gloriously dirty tone.
The secret sauce, or magic jus, if you will, of this pedal lies in its rare silicon transistors that offer a gritty top end response and more gain than typical germanium transistors. This enables a biting edge with a rounder tone that doesn’t go overboard with high end distortion. You can dial it in to be gain-heavy and leave it on as your permanent tone for a killer sonic vibe. It can also give you a wider range that goes from overdrive to fuzz without being too loose. That’s the power of silicon right there. 
When it comes to dialing in this mighty fuzz-breathing driver, the Bias knob is dirt central station. This control effectively starves the transistors of electrical current, which alters the gated characteristics of its sound, giving you everything from Velcro fuzz flavors to analog synth undertones. With the Bias control dialed all the way up, the transistors are properly biased, and as you back it down it gets into a more slathery, gated fuzz tone. 
The tone control alters the high-frequency range and overall harmonic contour, which you can tweak in any number of ways. Roll it on for bright, cutting tones great for solos and lead riffs. Roll it back and enjoy the rich sustain and high-frequency roll-off. And bass players, we know you like to get plenty grimy too, you glorious low-end dwelling dirty birds. Well, this pedal is the perfect addition to your arsenal, as you can use it to do anything from gritting up your clean tone to adding some murky, low fuzz to the mix to going full hog-wild by cranking it to oblivion.
So don’t bring that clean business around here anymore! We’re in dirt territory now. And thanks to you and your magnificent new acquisition, the population just grew by one. Now let’s get dirty!

Beim Hoof Fuzz hat sich EarthQuaker Devices vom klassischen, „russischen“ Big Muff Pi inspirieren lassen. Das Hoof Germanium/Silizium-Hybrid-Fuzz erzeugt ein natürliches und obertonreiches Sustain. Das Klangspektrum reicht von dreckigem Overdrive bis zu monströsem Fuzz. Der Shift-Regler verändert als „Geheimwaffe“ die Frequenz-Ansprache des Tone-Reglers, ausgehöhlt klingende „Scooped-Mids-Fuzz-Sounds“ sind hiermit ebenfalls möglich. Das Hoof Fuzz ist voll analog aufgebaut, verfügt über einen True Bypass und wird in Handarbeit in Ohio/USA hergestellt. Das Hoof V2 verfügt über einen geräuschlosen, relais-basierten Soft-Touch Fußschalter. Audiosignale haben keinen Durchgang, wenn das Gerät nicht mit Strom versorgt wird.

The Hoof Fuzz is based on character of the classic green Russian muff. The Hoof germanium/silicon hybrid fuzz delivers a smooth, natural and harmonically rich sustain. It is capable of creating everything from dirty and organic overdrive to monstrous fuzz madness. The Shift control is its secret weapon of the Hoof. It changes the frequency response of the tone control, primarily on the treble side, making possible hollow sounding “scooped mids fuzz tones”. The Hoof features all analog operation and True Bypass. Hand built in Ohio, USA. The Hoof V2 uses silent relay-based soft touch switching. Audio will not pass without power.
