Der Avalanche Run wurde mit dem Ziel entwickelt, die schwebenden Ambient-Töne des Dispatch Masters auf das nächste Level zu heben und dabei benutzerfreundlich und raffiniert zu halten. Der Avalanche Run ist ein verträumtes Sonic Discovery-Device mit bis zu 2 Sekunden Delay-Zeit und einem üppigen Stereo-Reverb. Es bietet vollständige Kontrolle über die Verzögerungszeit, Wiederholungen, Mix und Voice (mit dem Tone Regler), sowie Kontrolle über die Hallfahnen-Länge und Reverb Mix. Es kann in einem von 3 verschiedenen Modi betrieben werden: Normal, Reverse und Swell. Im "Normal" -Modus fungiert der Avalanche-Run als direktes Delay und Reverb. Im "Reverse" -Modus ist die Delay Spur umgekehrt und der Reverb bleibt im normalen Modus. Im "Swell" -Modus reagiert der Avalanche Run auf deine Picking-Dynamik und fügt dem gesamten Signalweg einen Volume Swell hinzu, ähnlich wie beim manuellen Auf- und Zudrehen des Volume Reglers deiner Gitarre. Ausgestattet mit einer Kombination aus True Bypass und Buffered Bypass mit Trails-Funktion wird auch das Avalanche Run in Handarbeit in Ohio/USA hergestellt. Das Avalanche V2 verfügt über einen geräuschlosen, relais-basierten Soft-Touch Fußschalter. Audiosignale haben keinen Durchgang, wenn das Gerät nicht mit Strom versorgt wird.

The Avalanche Run is a dreamy sonic discovery device with up to 2 seconds of delay time and a lush stereo reverb. It features complete control over delay time, repeats, mixand voice (with the tone control), as well as control over the reverb length and mix. It can run in one of 3 different modes: Normal, Reverse and Swell. In “Normal”mode, the Avalanche Run functions as a straightforward delay and reverb. In “Reverse”mode, the delay line is in reverse and the reverb remains in normal mode. In “Swell”mode, the Avalanche Run reacts to your picking dynamics and adds a volume swell to the entire signal path much like manually raising and lowering the volume of your guitar. Equipped with True or Buffered with trails Bypass, the Avalanche Run is hand made in Ohio, USA. The Avalanche Run V2 uses silent relay-based soft touch switching. Audio will not pass without power.

Es widmet sich der Erzeugung von Rückkopplungen, die zwar zum Repertoire jedes gepflegten (Rock-) Gitarristen gehören, aber üblicherweise nur mit entsprechender Lautstärke und der Interaktion zwischen Amp, Box und Gitarre möglich sind. Mit dem E-Bow, der seit Mitte der 70er Jahre erhältlich ist, gibt es bereits ein Werkzeug, das die Saiten per Magnetfeld beliebig lang in Schwingung versetzt, indem es über die gewünschte Saite gehalten wird. Oder den Sustainer von Fernandes, ein Pickup, der ebenfalls die Saiten zum Schwingen bringt, wenn er per Schalter dazu aufgefordert wird. Und natürlich muss beim Umbau der Gitarre einer der vorhandenen Tonabnehmer dem Sustainer weichen.

Der EarthQuaker Devices Plumes basiert auf dem legendären grünen Overdrive Pedal, das seit Jahrzehnten als Industriestandard gilt. Im Zusammenspiel mit einem guten Röhrenverstärker erzeugt der Plumes eine warme, transparente Sättigung. EarthQuaker verzichtet auf den bewährten JRC4558 OpAmp und die BJT Buffer und ersetzt sie in der Schaltung durch Low Noise JFET OpAmps für einen präziseren Sound mit deutlich geringerem Grundrauschen. Mit 10 Megaohm Eingangsimpedanz bietet das Pedal einen wunderbar klaren, detaillierten Sound. Der Arbeitsbereich des Tone-Reglers wurde ebenfalls angepasst um mit einem satteren Low End ein breiteres Spektrum an möglichen Sounds zu bieten. 

Zusätzlich bietet der Plumes drei wählbare Clipping-Modi um den Sound des Pedals an möglichst viele Stilrichtungen und unterschiedlichstes Equipment anpassen zu können. Mode 1 bietet symmetrisches Clipping, basierend auf einem Paar LEDs. Das Setting bietet den sattesten Crunch und den klassischen Sound eines übersteuerten Röhrenverstärkers. Mode 2 ist ein Clean Boost ohne Soft Clipping, perfekt um den Clean Sound im Mix nach vorne zu bringen oder den Preamp eines Verstärkers in die Sättigung zu fahren. Mode 3 nutzt asymmetrisches Clipping mit Silizium Dioden und klingt am ehesten nach einem originalen Screamer. Im direkten Vergleich liefert das Setting aber mehr Output und klarere Clean Sounds.

Darüber hinaus verfügt der Plumes auch über EarthQuaker Devices 'Soft Touch' Flexi-Switch-Funktion, mit der du im Handumdrehen zwischen Momentary Modus und traditionellem Latching wählen kannst.

The EarthQuaker Devices Plumes is based on the legendary green overdrive pedal, which has been the industry standard for decades. In combination with a good tube amp, the Plumes creates a warm, transparent saturation. EarthQuaker Devices relinquishes the trusted JRC4558 OpAmp and BJT Buffers and replaces them with low noise JFET OpAmps for a more robust and precise signal with a significantly lower noise floor. With 10 megohms of input impedance, the pedal provides a stronger signal with more clarity and chime. In addition, the Plumes offers three selectable clipping modes to ensure that it will work with a wide variety of gear and playing styles. Mode 1 is symmetrical clipping based on a pair of LEDs. This is the crunchiest setting the Plumes has to offer. When played through a clean amp, it will deliver that classic crunchy valve amp tone. Mode 2 is a clean boost without soft clipping and with straight OpAmp drive, perfect for pushing your clean tone out in front or driving the preamp of an already overdriven amp into breakup saturation. Mode 3 is an asymmetrical silicon diode arrangement like an original screamer but with more output and clean clarity.

The Plumes features EarthQuaker Devices relay-based 'soft touch' Flexi-Switch Technology for both momentary and latching footswitch operation.

Was ist, wenn wir das Signal vor dem Drive-Effekt verstärken wollen, um den Sustain zu erhöhen, oder einen Boost vor dem Gain-Kanal und einen weiteren nach dem Preamp in der Effektschleife haben wollen?
Nun, Carl hat eine ganze Weile darüber nachgedacht und freut sich nun, die supercoole ... 'Dual Injenction' vorstellen zu können!

Jeder hat seinen eigenen Pegelregler und einen 'True Bypass'-Schalter, außerdem gibt es einen weiteren Kippschalter, der den Dual Injection zwischen seriellem und parallelem Modus umschaltet. 
Im seriellen Modus benutzt man den Input/Output 1 auf der Rückseite des Pedals und platziert den Boost an jeder beliebigen Stelle in der Signalkette. Im Parallel-Modus schließt du den Ausgang 1 vor deinem Drive oder Preamp an und verwendest dann den Eingang/Ausgang 2 an der Seite des Pedals, um ihn mit deinem Effektweg am Verstärker zu verbinden.
Was bedeutet das alles für dich? Nun, die Dual Injenction bietet dir 4 verschiedene Boost-Einstellungen...

1) Deine normale Einstellung, entweder clean oder mit Effekten

2) Boost 1 in der gewünschten Einstellung

3) Boost 2 mit einer anderen Einstellung als Boost 1

4) Sowohl Boost 1 als auch Boost 2 sind gleichzeitig aktiviert!

As guitar players, we all have that moment where we think, ‘How can I do this and still remain analogue?’ Once we have achieved the ‘ultimate tone, how can we boost that same tone without changing the quality? What if we want to boost the signal before your drive effect in order to increase sustain, or have a boost in front of your gain channel and another after the pre-amp in the effects loop? Well, Carl thought about this for quite a while and is now happy to introduce the super cool….’Dual Injenction’! Carl took the high quality, transparent boost from the Hot Drive’n Boost, and put two of them into one pedal. Each has it’s own level control and ‘True Bypass’ switch, plus there is another toggle which switches the Dual Injection between Serial and Parallel modes. In Serial mode, you use the Input/Output 1 on the back of the pedal and place the boost wherever you want in the signal chain. In Parallel mode, connect the Output 1 before your Drive or Preamp, and then use the Input/Output 2 on the side of the pedal to connect to your effects loop on the amp.

So, what does all this do for you? Well, the Dual Injenction gives you 4 different Boost settings…

1) Your normal set up either clean or with effects

2) Boost 1 engaged to a desired setting

3) Boost 2 engaged to a different setting than Boost 1

4) Both Boost 1 and Boost 2 engaged at the same time!
