The right side is JHS' Moonshine V2 which is a highly unique and massively tweaked version of the most famous overdrive ever created housed in a little green enclosure. Das UAFX Ruby ’63 ist das dritte Amp-Modeling-Pedal aus dem Hause Universal Audio und widmet sich der präzisen Nachbildung eines Vox AC30 aus der JMI-Ära der 1960er-Jahre. Drei Kanäle stehen zur Verfügung und natürlich auch eine Nachbildung des typischen Vibrato/Tremolo-Effekts. Dazu gibt es diverse Boost-Funktionen und auf der Lautsprecherseite stehen sechs verschiedene Cabs zur Auswahl.

I know that Universal Audio did a good job of capturing the spirit of an AC30 in the UAFX Ruby ’63 amp emulation, because excitement is the first thing I felt. The Ruby ’63 is lively, explosive, reactive, clear, and, yeah, even pretty chimey. And I was very impressed at how it imparted those qualities to decidedly non-Vox-y black-panel Fender amps, and vintage Fender cabinet emulations in UA’s OX Amp emulator. You know how a lot of pedals claiming to be an amp-in-a-box tend to be vaguely similar in terms of EQ and gain structure, but miss the details? The Ruby ’63 is not that. It’s an exhaustively executed emulation that takes you several miles further down the road to true amp-ness. And it sounds and feels awfully close to the real thing.

Der JHS Kilt V2 verfügt nach wie vor über den fantastischen Schaltkreis der Vorgängerversion, allerdings mit super wenig Nebengeräuschen, verbesserter Slew Rate für sanfteren, strukturierteren Overdrive mit einem Charakter, der sich noch besser anfühlt als der des originalen Expandora Overdrives auf dem die Schaltung basiert. Der Cut/Flat Kippschalter gibt dir die Option das Low End zu Cutten, für einen beefigeren Sound als ihn der Expandora bietet. G1 und G2 Kippschalter lassen dir verschiedene Zerr-Sounds, von leichtem, transparenten Drive bis hin zur Wand aus Fuzz und Distortion und allem dazwischen. Außerdem verfügt die V2 über die Möglichkeit den G2 Toggle per Red Remote Fußschalter zu aktivieren, sodass du On-the-Fly auf heftigen Overdrive oder Fuzz umschalten kannst!

The JHS Kilt V2 still has the fantastic circuit of the version one, but with super low noise, improved slew rate for a smoother structure and a character that just feels better than the original Expandora. The Cut/Flat toggle switch gives the option to cut the low end frequencies or to have a more beefier sound than the original Expandora and the G1 and G2 toggles let you select various forms of distortion, from light transparent drive all the way to a wall of fuzz/distortion and everything found in-between. Also, the V2 has the ability to switch the G2 toggle with the Red Remote footswitch giving you the opportunity to flip into heavy overdrive or fuzz with a footswitch on the fly!

Da der Boost unabhängig ist, kann er alleine verwendet werden, um den Verstärker oder andere Pedale in Verbindung mit dem AT + Drive-Kanal zu betreiben.

The JHS Pedals AT is Andy Timmons signature overdrive pedal that gives Andy his unmistakable lead and rhythm tone. The drive channel of the AT+ is identical to JHS original AT pedal. They include Volume, EQ, Drive, Air, and a three-way toggle for 25-watt, 50-watt, or 100-watt modes. The Volume gives you plenty of headroom to play with, while the Drive control has a wide range from high gain blues to thunderous distortion. The tone controls work together to give you the ability to shape your tone and sit perfectly in a mix. The EQ works as a standard bright/dark tone control, while the Air control rolls in top end like a presence control so you can have just the right amount of brightness for articulation and clarity. The three-way toggle gives you the feel of different wattage amplifiers. New to the AT+ is an independent foot-switchable Boost. Since the Boost is independent, it can be used alone to drive your amp or other drive pedals in conjunction with the AT+ drive channel.

Stu wollte ein Pedal, das alle Anforderungen seiner Studioarbeit und seiner ausgedehnten Tourneen abdecken konnte. Die „Legends Of Fuzz“-Serie ist unsere Hommage an die wichtigsten Fuzz-Schaltungen aller Zeiten. Wir möchten damit sicherstellen, dass die Geschichten dieser Effekte in der Musik, die du machen wirst, weiterleben. Von den Anfängen des Fuzz in der Londoner Szene Mitte der 60er-Jahre bis zu den ehemaligen sowjetischen Militärfabriken der 90er-Jahre, die den Big Muff wieder zum Leben erweckten – Fuzz erzählt Geschichten, und diese Geschichten beinhalten Gitarristen wie dich. Nichts ist ursprünglicher, als seine Gitarre an eine Vintage-Fuzz-Schaltung anzuschließen; der Klang ist roh, ungezähmt und so pur, dass er die Grenzen dessen sprengt, was dein Instrument leisten kann. 1973 gründeten die Effektlegende Craig Anderton und John Lang Seamoon Inc. und brachten im selben Jahr ihr Flaggschiff-Fuzz-Pedal auf den Markt: das Fresh Fuzz. Anfänglich führte ein fehlerhaftes Gehäusedesign dazu, dass diese Kunststoffpedale aus Bakelit zerbrachen, wenn Gitarristen darauf traten. Daher begann Seamoon, sie neu zu verpacken. Innerhalb weniger Monate wurden Metallgehäuse gefertigt. Trotz unzutreffender Kritiken, die dem Fresh Fuzz einen „dünnen Klang“ attestierten, erfreute es sich großer Beliebtheit und wurde von Künstlern wie Tom Scholz (Boston) und dem Gitarrenvirtuosen Eric Johnson ausgiebig eingesetzt. The "Legends Of Fuzz'' series is our tribute to the most important fuzz circuits ever made. It is our way of ensuring that the stories of these effects live on in the music that you are going to make. From the earliest days of fuzz in the mid-60's London scene to the 1990's ex-Soviet military factories that brought the Big Muff back to life, fuzz tells a story, and that story includes guitarists just like you. There is nothing more primitive than plugging your guitar into a vintage fuzz circuit; it is raw, untamed, and so pure that it pushes the boundaries of what your instrument can accomplish. Plug into a fuzz and plug into sixty years of beautifully broken sound.

Bei hohen Attack-Settings in diesem Modus erhält man je nach Anschlagstärke einen leichten Gated Fuzz Effekt. The JHS Pedals Bender is an attempt to recreate one of the most popular Tonebenders of all time: The 1973 MK3 Silver/Orange 'Onomatopoeia' version. The JHS Pedals Bender is a pedal that gives you the touch, feel, and response of the vintage germanium fuzz but with accuracy and consistency of carefully chosen modern silicon transistors. The controls are Volume, Tone, and Attack. Volume sets the overall output level of the effect; turn it up and things get louder. Tone lets you sweep between bright and dark tones so that the Bender works well with a range of different amplifiers and guitars. Attack is the distortion control, the more you turn it clockwise, the more fuzz you create. On the side you will see a 'Mode' button that lets you access a never-before-heard 'JHS Mode'. Push that button for more gain and a mid frequency boost to send you leads soaring through the mix. With higher Attack settings in this mode, you will feel the fuzz slightly gate depending on your picking dynamics.
