The RockBoard® PowerMODs are specially designed Class D transistor amplifiers that can drive speaker cabinets directly from your pedalboard without an additional amplifier. Das Tape Delay wurde in den späten 40er Jahren erfunden, als Les Paul zwei Ampex Model 200A Spulentonbandgeräte zusammenschaltete. Das JHS Pedals 3 Series Tape Delay ist ein vereinfachter und originalgetreuer Rückgriff auf diese klassischen Geräte. Mit dem Mix-Regler können Sie einstellen, wie viel Clean-Signal mit dem Wet-Signal (Delay) gemischt wird (beim Originalgerät hieß das Echo Volume). Tape Speed simuliert die Beschleunigung und Verlangsamung des Bandmotors des RE-201 und bestimmt, wie kurz oder lang der Verzögerungseffekt ist. Mit dem Repeats-Regler können Sie zwischen einer einzelnen Wiederholung und mehreren Wiederholungen wählen, was daran erinnert, dass ein Sound jedes Mal mit einem Verlust an Klangtreue auf eine Bandschleife geschrieben wird. Wenn der Flutter-Regler eingeschaltet ist (obere Position), wird die Abnutzung der mechanischen Teile einer Bandmaschine nachgeahmt, die mit der Zeit auftritt. Dies verursacht leichte Modulationen, Warble und Flattergeräusche im Echoweg des Delays, die sich viele Spieler wünschen.

Tape delay was invented in the late 40s when Les Paul strung two Ampex Model 200A reel-to-reel tape recorders together. A little later, in 1953, Ray Butts invented the Echosonic, the first actual tape delay unit. This would be followed up by the Echoplex EP-1 in 1961 from Mike Battle and the Space Echo from Roland in 1974. The JHS Pedals 3 Series Tape Delay is a simplified and faithful throwback to these classic units. The Mix control lets you control how much clean signal is blended in with the wet (delayed) signal (on the original unit, this was called Echo Volume). Tape Speed acts as a simulation of the RE-201’s tape motor speeding up and slowing down and determines how short or long the delay effect is. The Repeats control goes from a single repeat to many, reminiscent of a sound being written onto the tape loop with loss of fidelity each time. Finally, when the Flutter toggle is turned on (up position), it replicates the wear & tear to the mechanical parts of a tape machine that happens over time. This causes mild modulation, warble, and flutter sounds in the echo path of the delay that so many players desire.

3 Series Tape Delay

The rotary effect was one of the earliest modulation effects to hit the music scene. Intensity determines the modulation depth. Speed lets you control how fast the simulated speaker “spins.” When you turn the Room toggle on (up position), it adds a roomy, reverb ambiance to the sound, much like the ambient “room microphone” sound that happens when recording a real Leslie.

4 Wheeler Fuzz
Bisher konnte Bass Fuzz nur süße Klänge erzeugen. 4 Wheeler Fuzz
Until now, Bass Fuzz could only create sweet sounds. There were very few fuzz pedals that could play a tight, driven bass line in an environment like my home where I couldn't make loud sounds. JHS Pedals' 4 Wheeler V2 is a pedal that can handle a variety of bass fuzz sounds, from 60's jam band sounds to modern electric fuzz sounds. A specially tuned Gate control, along with Volume, Tone, and Fuzz controls, puts the bass fuzz sound you want right at your fingertips. There's plenty of volume/headroom for any size stage, so you can drive your amp hard.
