Der Clover Preamp / Boost ist eine JHS Interpretation des FA-1, jedoch mit einigen zusätzlichen Funktionen, die diese erstaunliche Schaltung noch besser machen. Du wirst bei deinen Gigs  nicht auf diesen glücklichen Tonformer verzichten wollen! Der Clover ist eine End-All-Preamp / Boost für akustische und E-Gitarren und Bässe. Mit dem DJ14 Graphik Equalizer lässt sich das Gitarrensignal wirklich genau
zurechtschneidern, wer seinem Amp noch mehr Distortion entlocken will (und z.B. einen
voreingestellten Solosound benötigt), kann das Signal noch mit dem Levelregler boosten.
Die umgekehrte Variante funktioniert auch bestens. Mit dem Equalizer wird ein klarer
(meist in den Mitten etwas abgesenkter - Bässe und Höhen anheben) Rhythmussound
eingestellt, der dann durch Absenken des Levelreglers dem aufgedrehten Amp schöne
Clean-Sounds entlockt. Praktisch ein zweiter Kanal mit Klangregelung für den geliebten,
aber etwas unflexiblen Ein-Kanal-Verstärker!
