The improved RockBoard® MODs V2 are simple all-in-one patchbays for RockBoard pedalboards with a new, refreshed design, and compact housing. Utilizing the MOD slot on all new RockBoards® (except the DUO series), they provide various cable connections to fit a wide variety of needs as a convenient patchbay. We call this our Preamp because it is! The circuit is based on the our Chimera 30 watt guitar amplifier, but substitutes FET transistors for the vacuum tubes. The result is an extremely amp-like and versatile clean boost/overdrive/fuzz pedal that imparts rich harmonics and a very musical EQ to your signal chain…truly a Chimera in a box!

Das JHS Artificial Blonde Madison Cunningham Signature Pedal ist im Grunde eine unkomplizierte Annäherung an Madisons Signature-Sound: ein immer eingeschalteter, leicht dreidimensionaler Vibrato-Sound. Der zweite Fußschalter schaltet zwischen den beiden Speed/Depth Preset-Sektionen um. Dies ist ein echtes Pitch-Vibrato-Modulationspedal mit zwei leicht zugänglichen Modi für den Live-Einsatz. Dieses flexible und charakteristische Vibrato Pedal bietet neben dem globalen Volume Regler einen aktiven Tilt-EQ. Durch Drehen nach links werden die Tiefen angehoben und die Höhen abgesenkt, während durch Drehen nach rechts die Höhen angehoben und die Tiefen abgesenkt werden. Mit dem linken Fußschalter kann der Effekt eingeschaltet werden und mit dem rechten schaltet man das Preset A oder B. Jedes Preset hat die gleiche Speed/Depth Range und ermöglicht zwei verschiedene schaltbare Einstellungen.

The JHS Artificial Blonde Madison Cunningham Signature Pedal is basically a simple approach to Madison's signature sound: an always-on, slightly three-dimensional vibrato sound. The secondary footswitch switches between the two speed/depth preset sections. It is a true pitch vibrato modulation pedal with two easy to access modes for live use. This flexible and distinctive vibrato pedal features an active tilt EQ in addition to the global volume control. Turning it to the left boosts the lows and cuts the highs, while turning it to the right boosts the highs and cuts the lows. The left footswitch turns the effect on and the right one switches preset A or B. Each preset has the same speed/depth range and allows two different switchable settings.

Das Tape Delay wurde in den späten 40er Jahren erfunden, als Les Paul zwei Ampex Model 200A Spulentonbandgeräte zusammenschaltete. Wenig später, im Jahr 1953, erfand Ray Butts den Echosonic, das erste echte Tape-Delay-Gerät. Diesem folgten 1961 das Echoplex EP-1 von Mike Battle und 1974 das Space Echo von Roland. Das JHS Pedals 3 Series Tape Delay ist ein vereinfachter und originalgetreuer Rückgriff auf diese klassischen Geräte. Mit dem Mix-Regler können Sie einstellen, wie viel Clean-Signal mit dem Wet-Signal (Delay) gemischt wird (beim Originalgerät hieß das Echo Volume). Tape Speed simuliert die Beschleunigung und Verlangsamung des Bandmotors des RE-201 und bestimmt, wie kurz oder lang der Verzögerungseffekt ist. Tape delay was invented in the late 40s when Les Paul strung two Ampex Model 200A reel-to-reel tape recorders together. A little later, in 1953, Ray Butts invented the Echosonic, the first actual tape delay unit. This would be followed up by the Echoplex EP-1 in 1961 from Mike Battle and the Space Echo from Roland in 1974. The JHS Pedals 3 Series Tape Delay is a simplified and faithful throwback to these classic units. The Mix control lets you control how much clean signal is blended in with the wet (delayed) signal (on the original unit, this was called Echo Volume). Tape Speed acts as a simulation of the RE-201’s tape motor speeding up and slowing down and determines how short or long the delay effect is. The Repeats control goes from a single repeat to many, reminiscent of a sound being written onto the tape loop with loss of fidelity each time. Finally, when the Flutter toggle is turned on (up position), it replicates the wear & tear to the mechanical parts of a tape machine that happens over time. This causes mild modulation, warble, and flutter sounds in the echo path of the delay that so many players desire.

3 Series Tape Delay

Der Rotationseffekt war einer der frühesten Modulationseffekte in der Musikszene. The rotary effect was one of the earliest modulation effects to hit the music scene. Intensity determines the modulation depth. Speed lets you control how fast the simulated speaker “spins.” When you turn the Room toggle on (up position), it adds a roomy, reverb ambiance to the sound, much like the ambient “room microphone” sound that happens when recording a real Leslie.

The Box It Later is a specialized utility buffer and boost pedal developed as a custom piece for John Mayer. It is based on the circuit of the rare Dumble A-Box-Later, a device traditionally used in an amplifier’s effects loop to manage signal levels and impedance. The pedal functions as a high-headroom clean boost that provides clarity and punch while maintaining the instrument's natural character. It features a transparent signal path designed to push an amplifier into its "sweet spot" without unwanted coloration. This specific unit was never released as a standard commercial product, remaining a rare "secret weapon" for specific artist rigs.
