The Duellist features top mounted jacks, 9-18v DC, you can run it at 12 or 18v for more headroom. You can change the channel order A into B or B into A with a simple flick of the switch. Side mounted dip switch allows easy access to powerful tonal options. The new options include an amp-like setting, this gives you an open, tube-amp style tone. The SRV Mod adds attack and dynamics to the classic TS style tones, you’ll probably want to leave this option on once you’ve heard it.. With the Duellist you can also split channel A and B so you can use it with a pedalboard switcher. In ‘Split’ mode, using TRS cables the Duellist functions as two separate pedals with an in and out for each side, this allows you to place the two sides of the Duellist in “different places” on your pedalboard, e.g. you can put other pedals in-between the two sides.

Each stereo loop can be broken up into 2x mono loops with an Y-cable and in the looper used as 2x complete independent mono loops (Y-TRS-Cables). As these cannot be displayed in this tool (but often used to double the loops on big boards) we configured in this tool 3 stereo connections as 6x mono loops.

The Session DI really breaks down your signal into the component that matter the most, whether going to the PA or directly into a DAW. Gain, saturation and compression EQ. More importantly, the saturation has been calibrated for the frequencies that matter most for acoustic guitars. On the flip side, the compression EQ narrowly targets the frequency bands that are most problematic with plugged-in acoustics. The gain VU meter helps you dial in the right setting based on the particular characteristics of your onboard pickup. It's as if the designers identified all the problem-spots of using conventional DI boxes in live settings and whittled down tailor-made solutions.

The Archer Ikon is sort of a 2 in one pedal. It can be used as just a clean boost by turning the gain all the way down. As you introduce gain it will attenuate the clean signal but you will find that there is a magical blend in between.

The Blue Note Select is a “V2” of our favorite circuit. The original Blue Note Pro Series was the first and that included the “Hot” switch. We then introduced the Tour Series that did not have the “Hot” switch. The newest Blue Note Select not only includes the”hot” switch but also includes major improvements to the looks, the sound and the overall feel, all in a very small package. We have gone so far as to have custom knobs made, a custom color mixed to achieve
the electric blue you see and by far the biggest improvement is the low end both in and out of “hot mode”. This could be our best overall low gain drive.

The Josh Smith Dual Trem is a collaboration between blues artist Josh Smith, pedal designer J. Rockett Audio Designs and designer Tim Jauernig. It features two independent tremolo sections (each with their own Rate and Depth controls) along with a global Boost control to compensate for volume loss or to act as a clean boost. It is voiced to capture the tremolo sounds of classic “Leo” style amplifiers and allows you to dial two distinct trem settings, switch between them or stack them.
