The Source Audio C4 Synth unites all the sound construction tools of a classic Eurorack modular synthesizer and packages them in a compact and easy-to-use effects pedal for guitar or bass. It is essentially a modular synth in a box with unprecedented tracking abilities, lightning-fast response, and vast universe of easy-to-access sound options.

The C4 offers multiple methods of preset storage and recall. For a straightforward plug-and-play experience, simply select one of the pedal’s six onboard presets with the center toggle switch. The addition of a third-party MIDI controller with USB host provides access to any of the C4 Synth’s 128 Factory presets. Connect the C4 to the Neuro Desktop Editor (a free download for Mac and Windows) or the Neuro Mobile App (iOS and Android) and unlock the pedal’s true power. The Neuro software features a Eurorack inspired editing interface with 4 parallel voices, 3 oscillator wave shapes, 11 envelope followers, 24 modulating filters, distortion, tremolo, pitch shifting, intelligent harmonization, programmable sequencing, and more. DOOM 2 is an original fuzz circuit that turns your input signal into something resembling the sawtooth wave of a vintage synthesizer. Unlike most fuzz-style circuits, DOOM 2 responds to your playing technique and retains note dynamics.
New for version 2 is the you’re / your switch. You’re is the classic DOOM sound - strong upper harmonics, a mid-focused sound, and octavia / ring modulator effects as you play up the neck. Your is a new mode that has a stronger fundamental, more low end and fewer harmonics. This mode sounds more like a traditional fuzz.

Wie das DVP3 hat es auch die rutschfeste Pedaloberfläche und den patentierten Low-Friction-Band-Drive, der für einen sanften und gleichmäßigen Regelweg und zuverlässige Performance sorgt. Für maximalen Komfort ist die Leichtgängigkeit des Pedals vollkommen einstellbar.

Der AUX Ausgang vereint Tuner und Expression Funktion in einer Buchse, die per internem Schalter festgelegt werden kann. Über interne Trim-Potis kann das Minimum-Volumen des Pedals eingestellt werden und wenn du willst, kannst du auch die Funktionsrichtung umkehren – ein weiterer interner Schalter macht’s möglich.

The AUX output combines tuner and expression functionality into one jack that can be toggled with a switch inside the pedal. When using the DVP4 as an expression pedal, you can use an internal pot to set the minimum level of the parameter you’re controlling with the rocker. If you want to reverse the function of the heel-down and toe-down positions, the DVP4 has another internal switch that allows you to do so.
