Das Problem bei Standard-EQ-Schaltungen ist, dass sich die verschiedenen Frequenzbänder, die sie abschneiden und anheben, an verschiedenen Stellen überschneiden. Diese Überschneidungspunkte können die ursprüngliche Wellenform des Eingangssignals verändern, was zu matschigen Bässen oder harschen Höhen führt. Der Bottom-Regler des BB2 hebt die ultratiefen Frequenzen hervor, ohne die unteren Mitten zu überlagern, und erzeugt so einen gewaltigen, fetten und straffen Bassbereich.

Der Attack-Regler fügt einen hellen, knackigen oberen Mitteltonbereich hinzu, der die Spieldynamik hervorhebt und jedes Instrument im Mix hervorstechen lässt. Der Level-Regler des BB2 kann das Eingangssignal um bis zu 30 dB anheben und eignet sich damit perfekt als Clean-Booster.

Der BB-2 kann nicht nur jeden Standard-Viersaiter in eine tödliche Waffe verwandeln, sondern auch den Sound des tiefen B bei 5- und 6-saitigen Bässen verbessern, indem er ihn klar, straff und gut definiert auch über einen kleinen Verstärker wiedergibt! Vielleicht hast du bemerkt, dass der BB-2 keinen Standard-Fußschalter hat - das liegt daran, dass du, wenn du ihn einmal angeschlossen hast, nicht mehr ohne ihn spielen willst!

Make their booty move! The BB-2 Bottom Blaster features Guyatone's proprietary "Sound Control System" (patent pending) circuitry that adds butt-shaking lows and sizzling highs to any bass sound! If your current gear just isn't moving enough air, the BB-2 is like adding a palm-sized hurricane to your rig!

The inherent problem with standard EQ circuits is that the various frequency bands they cut & boost tend to overlap at various points. These overlap points can alter the original input wave shape, resulting in muddy bottom-end or harsh hi-frequency peaks. The BB2's Bottom control emphasizes the ultra-low frequencies without overlapping the lower midrange, creating immense, chest-thumping bottom end that is fat and tight.

The Attack control adds a bright, crispy upper-midrange that works to bring out playing dynamics and allows any instrument to stand out in the mix. The BB2's Level control can add up to 30 dB of boost to the input signal, making it perfect for use as a clean booster.

In addition to turning any standard four-string into a lethal weapon, The BB-2 can improve the sound of the low-B on 5- and 6-string basses, making it clear, tight, and well defined even through a small amp! Machen wir uns nichts vor - egal, wie gut du spielst, es ist praktisch unmöglich, jede einzelne Note mit der gleichen Lautstärke zu treffen. Die heutigen fortschrittlichen Spieltechniken machen es sogar noch schwieriger, eine solide Basis zu erhalten, die nicht in den Mix hinein- und wieder herausfällt.

Der BL-2 hilft dir dabei, solide zu klingen, ohne den Ton deines einzigartigen Instruments zu verändern, für das du jahrelang gespart hast. Mit den variablen Pegel- und Threshold-Reglern des BL-2 kann der Benutzer eine Vielzahl von Kompressions-/Limiting-Effekten mit einem Verhältnis von bis zu 100:1 einstellen, die jede Note druckvoll und fest machen, egal wie leicht du spielst.

Höhere Threshold-Einstellungen ergeben einen warmen, runden, leicht körnigen Ton, ähnlich wie bei einem hart arbeitenden Röhrenverstärker. Mit niedrigen Threshold- und hohen Level-Einstellungen kann der BL-2 auch als unkomprimierter Clean-Booster mit bis zu 40 dB Gain verwendet werden. Der BL-2 verfügt außerdem über einen Slow/Fast-Schalter, der zwei verschiedene Attack-Typen für mehr klangliche Variationen bietet.

The BL-2's variable Level and Threshold controls allow the user to dial in a variety of compression/limiting effects with up to a 100:1 ratio squash that will make every note punchy and tight no matter how light you play.

Higher Threshold settings yield a warm, round, slightly gritty tone similar to a hard-working tube amp. With low Threshold and high Level settings the BL-2 can also be used as an uncompressed clean booster with up to 40 dB of gain. Warum sollten Gitarristen den ganzen Spaß haben? Der BR-2 Bottom Wah Rocker verfügt über die gleiche einzigartige Hüllkurvenfilterschaltung wie unser legendärer WR-2, ist aber speziell auf die tiefen Frequenzen der Bassgitarre abgestimmt. Jetzt kannst du die gleichen krächzenden, kehligen Wah-Sounds wie beim WR-2 bekommen, ohne dass du den allmächtigen Bottom verlierst, der deine Band zusammenhält und die Leute auf die Tanzfläche bringt!

Durch die Veränderung einiger Komponenten konnten wir die unverwechselbare Stimme des Wah-Rocker-Schaltkreises beibehalten, ohne das tiefe Ende zu opfern. Durch die Verschiebung des Filter-Sweeps des BR-2 in einen niedrigeren Frequenzbereich ist nun eine ganze Palette neuer Sounds möglich. Variable Threshold- (bestimmt die Stärke des Effekts) und Decay-Regler (bestimmt die Geschwindigkeit des Effekts) ermöglichen eine große Vielfalt an Auto-Wah-Effekten, die dem klassischen Mutron Micro V ähneln (natürlich ohne das Vintage-Preisschild). Bei niedrigeren Threshold-Einstellungen fungiert der BR-2 als statischer Tiefpassfilter, der erdbebenartige Bässe erzeugt, die sich mit dem phattesten Analogsynthesizer messen können. Neben der Verwendung mit dem Bass eignet sich der BR-2 auch perfekt als Outboard-Filtereffekt für DJs und Dance- und Techno-Remix-Projekte. The BR-2 Bottom Wah Rocker features the same uniquely voiced envelope filter circuit as our legendary WR-2, but custom tuned for the low-end frequencies of the bass guitar. Now you can get the same squawky, throaty wah sounds as the WR-2 without losing the almighty bottom that holds up your band and puts people on the dance floor!
By changing a few components we were able to retain the unmistakable voice of the Wah Rocker circuit without sacrificing the low end. By shifting the BR-2's filter sweep to a lower frequency range, an entire gamut of new sounds are now attainable. Variable Threshold (determines strength of effect) and Decay (determines the speed of the effect) controls allow for a wide variety of auto-wah effects that are similar in tone to the classic Mutron Micro V (without the vintage price tag, of course). Lower Threshold settings allow the BR-2 to act as a static low-pass filter, yielding earth shaking lows on par with the phattest analog synth. In addition to use with the bass, the BR-2 works perfectly as an outboard filter effect for DJ's and Dance & Techno remix projects. The BR-2 is already standard equipment for Bass luminaries like Bootsy Collins, Justin Meldal-Johnsen, and TM Stevens as well as Funk Keyboard pioneer Bernie Worrell.

Lets you compensate for different rooms to always get a perfect sound. With +/-12dB of equalization over five bands (70Hz, 150Hz, 500Hz, 1kHz, and 4kHz). Its filter circuit is specially tuned by lowering the 'Q" and enlarging the bandwidth of each frequency.
