Der Name Orange steht für einen eigenen britischen Ampsound und natürlich ein unverwechselbares Design, das aufgrund der auffälligen, fruchtigen Farbe einen hohen Wiedererkennungswert hat. Effektpedale sind sicherlich nicht die Hauptdisziplin, mit der man die Marke in Verbindung bringt, doch das soll sich wohl ändern, denn 2015 hat Orange zum ersten Mal seit den 60er Jahren einen Schritt in den Bodentretermarkt gewagt.

The Amp Detonator from Orange is the ultimate tool for guitarists who want to use a guitar with two different amplifiers and/or effect chains. Two outputs, each with its own buffer amp, allow the guitar signal to be forwarded alternately or simultaneously, without the need for long cable runs. In addition, a specially developed isolating transformer and a switch for phase reversal ensure noiseless operation without loss of sound.

 Inherently simple devices like fuzz circuits are extremely sensitive to the amount of voltage that they receive, thus any change in the voltage from your power supply will cause drastically different tones. Guitarists eventually caught on to this hack and began draining their batteries to try and find the sweet spot for their fuzz pedal. A good idea in theory, but who has time for that? Then, just a few years ago, a certain unnamed guitarist reached out to me for a practical solution for this technique– and the Volture was born.

Customize the adjustments with the DYNAMICS and PITCH knobs and dedicated mode switches. Each of the primary effect knobs is paired with a corresponding smaller adjustment knob, also known as an attenuverter. This allows you to precisely dial in the variation amount and direction for each effect knob independently. The ProD2 is a high-quality ultra-compact stereo passive direct box that features custom-made Radial transformers. Essentially two ProDIs in one compact enclosure the ProD2 is a great choice for stereo keyboards, DJ equipment and consumer hi-fi systems. Its high-performance transformer has an exceptionally linear frequency response from 20Hz to 18kHz and is able to handle high signal levels without saturation making it ideal for electronic instruments. The ProD2 is housed in an extremely rugged two piece 14 gauge steel enclosure with a book-end designed outer shell that prevents damage to the switches, features a -15dB PAD for high output sources and ground lift switch to troubleshoot noise from ground loops.

Microcosm is a granular effects pedal that rearranges and reinterprets your sound in new and exciting ways using a variety of sampling, pitch-shifting, delay, and looping techniques. Cascading micro-loops can be locked into tight, tap-tempo synced rhythms, diffused into glacial ambient textures, woven into hypnotic drones, and much more. Microcosm in an alternate colorway!
