Description
The Fuchs Audio Technology Valve Job II is a boutique tube based overdrive and boost pedal built around a rare Russian microminiature vacuum tube for enhanced harmonic complexity and dynamic response. It features four controls labeled Gain, Touch, Tone, and Level, allowing precise adjustment of distortion character, feel, frequency shaping, and output volume. The regulated tube heater operates at reduced voltage to promote grid current behavior while minimizing noise. Its Pure Gain circuit functions as a high quality buffer when bypassed and as an active boost when engaged, with factory boost set around 10 dB and internally adjustable for higher output. The pedal delivers tones ranging from smooth, amp like edge of breakup textures to more aggressive overdrive with strong touch sensitivity.Media
