Description
The Freqscene Massiv is a versatile amp-style overdrive and boost pedal inspired by the preamp circuit of an early 1970s Hiwatt DR103 guitar amplifier. It is designed to deliver a big, dynamic edge-of-breakup drive sound with clarity and headroom reminiscent of a classic British amp rather than modern high-gain distortion. Both the overdrive and the boost sections can be used independently or together, and a toggle switch lets you choose whether the boost comes before or after the overdrive for different character. A dedicated clipping toggle allows the boost section to add a clean lift or a bit of dirty grit. The EQ is relatively neutral and broad, making it useful across a wide range of sounds.
