Der AM4 Amp Modeler bringt die Leistungsfähigkeit der Spitzen-Amp-Modeling-Produkte von Fractal Audio in ein kompaktes, pedalbord-freundliches Format. Er vereint Amp-Modeling, Lautsprecher-/Cab-Simulation und eine komplette Effektsektion in einem Gerät. Die Bedienung erinnert mit klassischen Amp-Reglern und Pedal-Schaltern eher an ein Pedalboard als an ein tief verschachteltes Menü – dennoch gibt es bei Bedarf Zugriff auf umfangreiche Bearbeitungsmöglichkeiten durch den „Expert Edit“-Modus. Der AM4 verfügt über USB-Audio, MIDI, symmetrische Ausgänge, Stereo-Insert und einen Kopfhörerausgang – und eignet sich damit gleichermaßen für Live-Einsatz, Proberaum, Aufnahme oder Reisen. Er nutzt den gleichen „Cygnus X-2“-Amp-Modeling-Motor wie Fractals High-End-Prozessoren, was Zugang zu hunderten Amp-Modellen, Cabs und Effekten bedeutet. Das Gerät ist bewusst kompakt gebaut und eignet sich für Pedalboard, Schreibtisch oder Reisen.

The AM4 Amp Modeler brings the power of Fractal Audio’s flagship modeling to a compact pedalboard-friendly format. It offers amp modeling, speaker-cab simulation, and a full suite of effects in one unit. The interface uses familiar amp-style controls and pedals rather than deep menus, but gives access to advanced editing when you need it via “Expert Edit.” The AM4 supports USB-audio, MIDI, balanced outputs, stereo insert, and a headphone jack so it works for live rig, rehearsal, recording or travel. It runs the same “Cygnus X-2” amp-modeling engine underlying Fractal’s high-end processors, giving access to hundreds of amp models, cabs, and effects. The unit is designed to be highly portable and pedalboard / desk / backpack friendly.

The external Trinity Pro Preamp allows for individual sound adjustment of the mic and pickup. It is built using K&K's "silent filter technology" and our full size component philosophy. We use full size capacitors and other parts because we find they sound better than the miniature components in most of our competitors' preamps. This little preamp is extremely versatile and powerful and features easily accessible volume controls and internally adjustable gain/EQ controls with +/- 20 dB bass, midrange and treble filters (trimpots) for each individual channel, plus a phase switch for the microphone channel.
