Description

This high-performance clean booster pedal serves as a specialized tone-shaping tool designed in collaboration with guitarist Fredrik Thordendal of the extreme metal band Meshuggah. It features a single control knob that delivers up to +22dB of signal amplification, utilizing a proprietary equalization curve tailored specifically to tighten loose low-end frequencies and sharpen picking attack. The analog architecture is optimized for aggressive high-gain amplifier setups and extended-range or down-tuned guitars without altering the baseline character of the instrument. An integrated side-mounted auxiliary jack allows for simultaneous amplifier channel switching when the effect is engaged or disengaged, eliminating the need to tap-dance across multiple footswitches. The circuit ensures pristine signal integrity through industry-standard mechanical true-bypass switching housed in a rugged matte-black chassis.
