The improved RockBoard® MODs V2 are simple all-in-one patchbays for RockBoard pedalboards with a new, refreshed design, and compact housing. Utilizing the MOD slot on all new RockBoards® (except the DUO series), they provide various cable connections to fit a wide variety of needs as a convenient patchbay. With the RockBoard® MODs, you can permanently connect your pedals underneath your board and organize all connections to and from your effects setup in one convenient module. The RockBoard® MODs provide a central access point from your instrument to your amp, as well as your power supply via IEC, and a 2.1 x 5.5 barrel thru power connector. The RockBoard® MOD 1 V2 is a pass-thru box especially designed for guitar and bass players. Das Pitchfork von EHX ist neben dem Whammy und dem TC Electronic Sub ‚N‘ up das wahrscheinlich beliebteste Pitch-Pedal, das es auf den Pedal-Boards der Welt gibt. Von einem Bekannten, der sich ausgiebig mit dem Löten von Pedalen beschäftigt, habe ich mir sagen lassen, dass der Bau eines wirklich sauber arbeitenden und verlässlich trackenden Pitch-Pedals alles andere als leicht ist. Und das kann man sich gut vorstellen: Viele Pitch-Pedale tracken irgendwie seltsam, klingen entweder im Clean- oder Gain-Bereich jeweils zu matschig und undifferenziert oder können mit bestimmten Frequenzbereichen nicht gut arbeiten. Selbst das von mir hochgeschätzte Red Panda Tensor hat viele Stärken – die Klarheit des Pitch-Effekts ist es nicht.

It is always best to have the Uni-Verb effect first in the chain and Reverb last in the chain so we have built in a loop to allow you to do so. 

Replacing the rocker switch to select either vibe or chorus on the original, a footswitch was added to toggle on the fly

Analog Man hat in Zusammenarbeit mit Jim Weider das Pedal herausgebracht, nach dem seit vielen Jahren gesucht wurde - den King Of Tone (KoT). Es gibt viele Overdrive-Pedale auf dem Markt, aber keines von ihnen hat den Ton der Gitarre bewahrt und die richtige Menge an Overdrive ohne Kompromisse hinzugefügt. Es gibt einige gute Clean-Boosts, aber sie haben einfach nicht genug Drive, um dem Verstärker wirklich die Verzerrung zu geben, die man sich oft wünscht. Es gibt einige neuere OD-Pedale, die einen großartigen Frequenzgang haben, aber für mich klingen sie zu TROCKEN, ein bisschen steril und pappig. Es gibt auch einige gut klingende Pedale, aber ihr Sound ist zu "gesättigt", so dass der Anschlag und das Gefühl der Gitarre verloren gehen. Analog Man, in collaboration with Jim Weider, have come out with the pedal we have been looking for for many years - the King Of Tone (KoT). There are many overdrive pedals on the market, but none of them have been quite right, preserving the tone of the guitar and adding the right amount of overdrive without compromise. There are some good clean boosts available, but they just don't have enough drive to really give your amp the distortion you often want. There are some newer OD pedals that have a great frequency response, but to me they sound too DRY, a bit sterile and cardboardy. There are also some nice sounding pedals available but their sound is too "saturated", losing the touch and feel of your guitar. That is where the King Of Tone pedal comes in - it has enough warm overdrive but still preserves the tones of your quality guitars and amps. If you are looking for a big change in your sound, or a lot of distortion, this is probably not the pedal for you.

Der „Protein 2 in 1 Overdrive“ ist das Ergebnis einer Zusammenarbeit zwischen David Brown und dem Gitarristen und Produzenten Adam Sniegowski. Nachdem Adam jahrelang auf Tour und im Studio mit Backline-Verstärkern gearbeitet hatte, deren Klangqualität sehr unbeständig sein konnte, wandte er sich an Dave mit dem Wunsch, einen Dual-Overdrive zu entwickeln, der mit jeder Backline, auf die er stoßen würde, großartig klingen würde. Sie begannen mit zwei Overdrive-Effekten, die sie liebten und die sich gut miteinander kombinieren ließen, die jedoch einige inhärente Probleme aufwiesen. Dave machte sich daran, diese Probleme zu beheben, ohne dabei die Seele der Originale zu verlieren.

The Protein 2 in 1 Overdrive is a collaboration between David Brown and guitarist/producer Adam Sniegowski.  After years on the road and in the studio using backline amps that could be very inconsistent,  Adam came to Dave wanting to create a dual overdrive that would sound great with any backline he encountered. They started with two drives they loved, stacked well together, but had a few inherent issues. Dave set out to fix those issues without losing the soul of the originals.
