Same design as the original EHX Q-Tron but with extremely useful Effects Loop and an Attack Response Switch. The Effects Loop gives the musician the ability to place an additional effect, or chain of effects between the EHX Q-Tron Plus’s preamp and filter section without changing the envelope drive. This is particularly important with most distortion devices, as most all do not have much of an amplitude envelope. The FX loop will also fire up your creative juices to try all sorts of combinations in the effects loop: try the Micro POG into a Deluxe Memory Man. You can invent all sorts of novel effects. The added Response Switch selects between a slow, smooth, vowel-like attack and the fast, snaked response of the original Q-Tron.

The Boost also features an ultra-linear buffer to condition your line with ZERO tonal coloration, even with dozens of pedals in your chain. Additionally, you have total volume control by connecting the Boost with any EXP or Volume Pedal and adjusting your volume as you would with a normal volume pedal. When the Boost is OFF, the EXP will function as a volume pedal (sweeping from silent to unity gain). When the Boost is ON, the EXP or Volume Pedal will control the boosted volume (sweeping from silent to wherever the Boost level knob is set). MXR knows phasers. The Phase 90's compact size, superior construction, and refined sound put MXR on the map, and it set the standard by which all other phasers are judged. Two years later, MXR released the Phase 45—a mellower version of the effect favored for its ability to easily blend into a band's mix. Now, you can get both iconic circuits in a single pedal while tightening up your pedalboard at the same time. The Phase 95 combines the Phase 45 and Phase 90 circuits in a mini housing with about half the footprint of a standard MXR pedal. The 45/90 switch toggles between the Phase 45 mode's subtle two-stage phasing and the Phase 90 mode's more pronounced four-stage phasing, while the Script switch toggles between two phasing styles. The Phase 95 is set to modern style phasing by default, which relies on feedback to create light harmonic distortion and gives the effect a more accentuated swoosh. Engaging the Script switch removes feedback for a lusher, more subdued sound with higher headroom and greater clarity. The familiar Speed control sets the rate of the effect. The Phase 95 may be small, but it's full of rich phase tones, and it'll take a beating on the road.

Das Pitchfork von EHX ist neben dem Whammy und dem TC Electronic Sub ‚N‘ up das wahrscheinlich beliebteste Pitch-Pedal, das es auf den Pedal-Boards der Welt gibt. Von einem Bekannten, der sich ausgiebig mit dem Löten von Pedalen beschäftigt, habe ich mir sagen lassen, dass der Bau eines wirklich sauber arbeitenden und verlässlich trackenden Pitch-Pedals alles andere als leicht ist. Und das kann man sich gut vorstellen: Viele Pitch-Pedale tracken irgendwie seltsam, klingen entweder im Clean- oder Gain-Bereich jeweils zu matschig und undifferenziert oder können mit bestimmten Frequenzbereichen nicht gut arbeiten. Selbst das von mir hochgeschätzte Red Panda Tensor hat viele Stärken – die Klarheit des Pitch-Effekts ist es nicht.

Dieses Stereo-Verstärker- und Boxen-Emulationspedal bildet die legendären britischen Sounds der Marshall 100-Watt-Plexi-Röhrenverstärkerköpfe aus den späten 1960er Jahren präzise nach. Angetrieben von einer Dual-Engine-Verarbeitung und fortschrittlichem digitalen Modeling umfasst das Design drei verschiedene Verstärkerkonfigurationen: Super Lead, Super Bass und eine spannungsreduzierte „Brown Sound“-Variante. Sechs klassische Lautsprecherboxen-Emulationen, die aus Studio-Mikrofonkombinationen abgeleitet wurden, sind in das Stompbox-Layout integriert. Die Bedienoberfläche verfügt über dedizierte Volume-Regler zum Mischen von Normal- und Treble-Kanälen sowie über einen traditionellen Dreiband-Tone-Stack und Presence. Zusätzliche integrierte Parameter wie ein High-Fidelity-Raummikrofon-Ambience-Algorithmus und mehrere zuschaltbare klassische Boost-Emulationen erweitern die Klangpalette. Eine zugehörige mobile App ermöglicht tiefgreifende Bearbeitungsfunktionen wie das Archivieren von Presets, benutzerdefiniertes Footswitch-Mapping und ein Noise Gate.

This stereo amplifier and cabinet emulation pedal accurately recreates the iconic British tones of late-1960s Marshall 100-watt plexi tube amp heads. Powered by dual-engine processing and advanced digital modeling, the design includes three distinct amplifier configurations: Super Lead, Super Bass, and a voltage-starved "Brown Sound" variation. Six classic speaker cabinet emulations derived from studio recording mic combinations are packed into the stompbox layout. The control interface features dedicated Volume controls for blending normal and treble channels alongside a traditional three-band tone stack and presence. Additional onboard parameters like a high-fidelity room mic ambiance algorithm and multiple switchable classic boost emulations expand the tonal palette. An accompanying mobile application enables deep editing functionality including preset archiving, custom footswitch mapping, and a noise gate.
