The Nero pedal combines a unique fuzz circuit with a built-in Gladio SC, activating both circuits simultaneously for a stacked drive effect. Der amerikanische Effektpedal-Hersteller Xotic ist bekannt für seine gut klingenden Overdrive-Pedale. Auf der NAMM 2019 in Anaheim zeigte er zwei interessante Neuheiten, die das Portfolio zukünftig ergänzen werden: den Xotic Super Sweet Booster und den Xotic Super Clean Buffer.

The Xotic Super Clean buffer landed on my board in an attempt to fight a major tone loss issue caused by my GigRig QuarterMaster loop switcher (check out my QuarterMaster review to learn more). Since I discovered that tone issue with the switcher, I started looking for possible simple cures that can bring sanity back to my board. I was really trying to avoid getting into replacing my QuarterMaster, simply because I had a really tough year, full of gear issues, technicians and technical support and I just got tired of it. I ended up getting an Xotic Super Clean and I'm very happy with it so far. My clean tone has never been so good through any pedal board before, with or without the switcher.

Drehen Sie „Octave Up“ für ätherischen Sound oder treiben Sie mit „Maximum“ in eine andere Galaxie. Mischen Sie dreistimmige Klänge perfekt für fetten Synthie-Wahnsinn. Mit der dreistufigen Klangregelung können Sie Ihren Sound so anpassen, dass er in jede Tasche passt, egal wie groß oder klein sie ist.

Zu den Bedienelementen des Pico POG gehören dedizierte Lautstärkeregler für die Stimmen „SUB OCTAVE“, „OCTAVE UP“ und „DRY“. Diese drei Regler fungieren als Mixer für unendlich viele mögliche Stimmenmischungen. Der TONE-Regler verfügt über drei Modi, die über die FILTER-Taste gesteuert werden. Im Tonmodus fungiert der Regler als Tilt-EQ mit flachem Frequenzgang in der Mitte, mehr Höhen und weniger Bässen beim Drehen im Uhrzeigersinn und weniger Höhen und mehr Bässen beim Drehen gegen den Uhrzeigersinn. Im Tiefpassfiltermodus schneidet der Regler die Höhen in den Sub- und Octave-Up-Stimmen ab, während der Hochpassfiltermodus die Tiefen in den Sub- und Octave-Up-Stimmen abschneidet.

The EHX Pico POG features a lighting fast feel that will track every note and chord you play with precision. Dial in Sub Octave to add stumble rumble or monstrous thunder. Add Octave Up for ethereal air or max it out to shred into another galaxy. Perfectly blend 3-voice tones for fat synthy madness. The 3 mode Tone control lets you tailor your sound to fit into any pocket no matter how massive or small.

Controls on the Pico POG include dedicated volumes knobs for the SUB OCTAVE, OCTAVE UP, and DRY voices. These three controls act as a mixer for infinite possible voice mixes. The TONE knob features three modes controlled by the FILTER button. In Tone Mode, the knob acts as a tilt-EQ with a flat frequency response in the center, more treble and less bass as you turn the knob clockwise, and less treble and more bass as you turn the knob counterclockwise. In this mode, the EQ is applied to all 3 voices. In Low Pass Filter mode, the knob cuts highs in the Sub and Octave Up voices, while High Pass Filter mode cuts lows in the Sub and Octave Up Voices.

Der JHS Kilt V2 verfügt nach wie vor über den fantastischen Schaltkreis der Vorgängerversion, allerdings mit super wenig Nebengeräuschen, verbesserter Slew Rate für sanfteren, strukturierteren Overdrive mit einem Charakter, der sich noch besser anfühlt als der des originalen Expandora Overdrives auf dem die Schaltung basiert. Der Cut/Flat Kippschalter gibt dir die Option das Low End zu Cutten, für einen beefigeren Sound als ihn der Expandora bietet. G1 und G2 Kippschalter lassen dir verschiedene Zerr-Sounds, von leichtem, transparenten Drive bis hin zur Wand aus Fuzz und Distortion und allem dazwischen. Außerdem verfügt die V2 über die Möglichkeit den G2 Toggle per Red Remote Fußschalter zu aktivieren, sodass du On-the-Fly auf heftigen Overdrive oder Fuzz umschalten kannst!

The JHS Kilt V2 still has the fantastic circuit of the version one, but with super low noise, improved slew rate for a smoother structure and a character that just feels better than the original Expandora. The Cut/Flat toggle switch gives the option to cut the low end frequencies or to have a more beefier sound than the original Expandora and the G1 and G2 toggles let you select various forms of distortion, from light transparent drive all the way to a wall of fuzz/distortion and everything found in-between. Also, the V2 has the ability to switch the G2 toggle with the Red Remote footswitch giving you the opportunity to flip into heavy overdrive or fuzz with a footswitch on the fly!

Dieses Pedal harmoniert mit dem Klang der Gitarre und des Verstärkers und hat satte Obertöne und komplexes, aber sanftes Clipping. Der Lightspeed Overdrive reagiert empfindlich auf den Anschlag des Plektrums und hat ein anderes „Gefühl“ als andere Overdrives. Der Lightspeed kann auf „transparent“ eingestellt werden, kann Ihr Signal aber auch bis an den Rand treiben.

The Lightspeed Organic Overdrive is a very natural sounding overdrive. Why "organic"?  Well, simply put, it's the clearest, most natural feeling, and best overdrive we've heard for the player looking for a natural drive tone.  Blending with the tone of the guitar and amplifier, this pedal has rich harmonics and complex but smooth clipping. The Lightspeed Overdrive is sensitive to pick attack and has a different "feel" than other overdrives. The Lightspeed can be set to be "transparent," but can also drive your signal to the edge.
