Aber diese Zeiten haben sich glücklicherweise geändert. Pitch-Effekte sind inzwischen im Effektangebot vieler Hersteller zu recht günstigen Kursen zu finden.

The EHX Pitch Fork transposes an instrument’s pitch over a +/- three octave range and features three modes which allow the pitch to be transposed up, down or both, simultaneously. The pitch shift amount can be set to a fixed interval or continuously varied by an expression pedal or control voltage.

Housed in a beautiful powder coated Blue 16ga. steel enclosure, the dual-channel Full-Drive 2 Mosfet gives you the best of both worlds. The first channel is the Overdrive Mode, capable of clean boost or non-compressed overdrive or choose light to medium softer overdrives all while retaining your guitar's original tone. The Tone knob is a very effective presence control that can smooth out or add upper harmonics. The second channel is the "Boost Mode" with its own separate distortion control for medium to higher gains with a more singing violin-like sustain!

One mini-toggle lets you choose between a "Vintage" FD2 sound with mid-heavy tones that cut through the mix and "FM (flat-mids)" for a more natural, transparent sound that works awesome with a Strat's neck pickup.
The other mini-toggle lets you choose between Mosfet and Normal clipping modes. Normal mode is even more asymmetrical, sweeter and more open, with no "blanket" over the sound.

Das Dunlop CBJ95 Cry Baby Junior Wah wurde speziell für den Einsatz auf Pedalboards entwickelt. The Cry Baby Junior Wah is purpose-built for pedalboards. Front-mounted input, output, and power jacks allow for a tighter configuration of pedals, freeing up space on the sides that would normally be taken up by cable ends. Analog Man hat in Zusammenarbeit mit Jim Weider das Pedal herausgebracht, nach dem seit vielen Jahren gesucht wurde - den King Of Tone (KoT). Es gibt viele Overdrive-Pedale auf dem Markt, aber keines von ihnen hat den Ton der Gitarre bewahrt und die richtige Menge an Overdrive ohne Kompromisse hinzugefügt. Es gibt einige gute Clean-Boosts, aber sie haben einfach nicht genug Drive, um dem Verstärker wirklich die Verzerrung zu geben, die man sich oft wünscht. Es gibt einige neuere OD-Pedale, die einen großartigen Frequenzgang haben, aber für mich klingen sie zu TROCKEN, ein bisschen steril und pappig. Es gibt auch einige gut klingende Pedale, aber ihr Sound ist zu "gesättigt", so dass der Anschlag und das Gefühl der Gitarre verloren gehen. Hier kommt das King Of Tone-Pedal ins Spiel - es hat genug warmen Overdrive, bewahrt aber trotzdem den Klang Ihrer Qualitätsgitarren und -verstärker.

Analog Man, in collaboration with Jim Weider, have come out with the pedal we have been looking for for many years - the King Of Tone (KoT). There are many overdrive pedals on the market, but none of them have been quite right, preserving the tone of the guitar and adding the right amount of overdrive without compromise. There are some good clean boosts available, but they just don't have enough drive to really give your amp the distortion you often want. There are some newer OD pedals that have a great frequency response, but to me they sound too DRY, a bit sterile and cardboardy. There are also some nice sounding pedals available but their sound is too "saturated", losing the touch and feel of your guitar. That is where the King Of Tone pedal comes in - it has enough warm overdrive but still preserves the tones of your quality guitars and amps. If you are looking for a big change in your sound, or a lot of distortion, this is probably not the pedal for you.
