The TC Electronic Dark Matter Distortion pedal is a robust and cost effective addition to the overflowing distortion pedal market, and despite its name, the Dark Matter pedal is more of an all around distortion pedal than a unit solely capable of metal saturation.

This compact analog dynamics processor functions as a versatile four-knob compressor built around a traditional operational transconductance amplifier circuit topology. It updates vintage squeeze behaviors by implementing an onboard parallel processing layout, utilizing a dedicated blend control to mix unaffected dry instrumentation with the compressed path to protect natural note definition. Individual control knobs govern output volume, compression severity, and attack recovery speed to alter the response from crisp percussive clicks to smooth musical sustain. A physical pad toggle switch optimizes input sensitivity by attenuating high-voltage signals, allowing it to interface cleanly with hot humbucker pickups and active bass guitar electronics. Audio signal paths are entirely preserved when disengaged using mechanical true-bypass hardware switching.

The world’s top-selling stage tuner, the BOSS TU-2, evolves and improves with the debut of the new TU-3. Housed in a tank-tough BOSS stompbox body, the TU-3 features a smooth 21-segment LED meter with a High-Brightness mode that cuts through the harshest outdoor glare. Choose between Chromatic or Guitar/Bass tuning modes, and enjoy visual pinpoint tuning verification with the Accu-Pitch Sign function. The TU-3 incorporates a convenient Note Name Indicator that can display notes of 7-string guitars and 6-string basses, while the Flat-Tuning mode can support up to six half-steps. It’s the new-standard tuner that no guitarist or bass player should be without!

The BOSS CH-1 Super Chorus is a classic modulation pedal that has been a staple of the BOSS compact line since 1989. It is designed to deliver a clean, brilliant chorus sound with crystal-clear highs, distinguishing it from the warmer, darker character of earlier analog models. The pedal features a four-knob interface for controlling effect level, EQ, rate, and depth, allowing for precise tonal shaping. It includes a mono input and stereo outputs, enabling a wide spatial effect when used with a dual-amplifier setup. While originally built using analog circuitry with Bucket Brigade Device (BBD) chips, the design transitioned to a digital circuit in the early 2000s while maintaining its signature sonic profile.

Kurt Cobain had it, Satriani has it, and probably your neighbour too!
The BOSS DS-1 is without a doubt one of the most famous distortion pedals out there.
Since the late ’70s and until today, this little orange pedal offers a compressed, British stack style distortion with an easy control layout – Distortion, Tone and Level.

The BOSS DS-1 is not a subtle pedal but not brutal either, it retains its characteristics with most type of pickups and it is really a great pedal for beginners and pros alike.
Compare this vintage version against the others too hear if you can tell any difference!

"Upgrade" is more than a 7-letter word. It embodies the continuation and evolvement beneath
the surface, and embraces revolution and creativity outside the box.
It’s what Ampero II Stomp does. Throughout years of grinding to establish its core technologies
from empirical practice, Hotone team proudly presents this soul partner for your

🖤 Experimental Noise / Lo-Fi Doom / Post-Everything

Claudia, the mad scientist behind Sketchy Pedals, blends performance art, fuzz-drenched textures, and raw circuit-bending wizardry into a chaotic symphony of feedback and feel. Her board is a beautifully bizarre blend of mainstream grit and boutique weirdness—anchored by her own Mo(s)ghoul from RhPf Electronics, which she pushes into synth-like fuzz realms and feedback loops.

🔸 From glitchy tape drones to saturated walls of doom fuzz, this setup screams DIY spirit and creative subversion.
🔸 Look out for her Walrus Melee, Electro-Harmonix Big Muff, and the eerily melodic Shuksan Fuzz.
🔸 RhPf’s Mo(s)ghoul acts as the spine of her destruction, often left on always.
