This pedal is based on the 1960s British Dallas Rangemaster, which was best at the time to give a treble and gain boost to the dark British amps. This allowed them to get a sound more in tune with the time, as guitars were starting to become a loud, bold, lead instrument. This pedal is a type of BOOSTER, not really a distortion pedal nor a clean boost- it does modify your sound quite a bit. It excites certain frequencies and pushes your amp to allow it to create rich tube distortion. The pedal colors your tone, with a crunchy overdrive, boosting certain frequencies, and warming the tone with NOS germanium transistors. It does not have a lot of compression and sustain like most OD pedals, but a more raw, open sound.

Das JHS Pedals Supreme ist ein exakter Nachbau von einem der beliebtesten Vintage Effekte aus Japan: Dem Shin-Ei Super-Fuzz. Das Supreme basiert auf einem extrem seltenen Black/Gray-Modell. Obwohl die ersten Versionen des Originals klanglich sehr nah beieinander liegen bietet die Version von 1972 eine gewisse Magie, die aus der Menge hervorsticht. Man denkt an ein Octavia Fuzz, "dass mit dem falschen Fuß aufgestanden ist" - ein lautes, schreiendes, lebhaftes Octave Fuzz mit allen Reglern auf Maximum. Die Regelmöglichkeiten sind mit Volume und Expand denkbar einfach. Volume kontrolliert das Output Level, Expand regelt den Grad an Verzerrung - je weiter man den Regler aufdreht, desto mehr Fuzz erhält man. An der Seite des Pedals sind zwei zusätzliche Schalter angebracht. Der Tone Schalter aktiviert einen Cut im Mitten-Bereich, der einen klassischen Scooped Mid EQ Sound erzeugt und dadurch die Attack im Signal abflacht. Der schaltbare 'JHS Mode' bietet eine stärkere Betonung des Octave Up Effekts mit einer dichteren Mid-Range und mehr Output Volume. Wer die klassischen Octave Fuzz Sounds von Pete Townsend, Black Keys, White Stripes, Beastie Boys und Mudhoney sucht wird das JHS Pedals Supreme lieben!

The JHS Pedals Supreme is an exact replica of one of the most sought after vintage effects from Japan: the Shin-Ei Super-Fuzz. The Supreme is based on an extremely rare black and grey model. Although every early version of the original pedal sounds strikingly similar, the 1972 unit has a certain magic that makes it stand out above the others. Imagine an Octavia Fuzz that woke up on the wrong side of the bed, and that's what you're plugging into here: a loud, screaming, full and vibrant octave fuzz that is always at 11. The controls are Volume and Expand. Volume makes the effect louder as you turn it and Expand increases the amount of fuzz. On the side you will see two buttons. The 'Tone' button engages a mid cut that flattens out the Supreme's attack and makes it more submissive. Think of this as a preset scooped mid EQ control. The 'Mode' button activates our very own 'JHS Mode' setting. You will hear a much more pronounced octave up effect, thicker mid-range, and more available volume/boost. If you want to replicate the classic octave fuzz sounds of Pete Townsend, Black Keys, White Stripes, Beastie Boys, and Mudhoney, this is it.

Dieses High-Gain-Verzerrerpedal wurde ursprünglich von DOD als FX69 veröffentlicht, bevor es zur Marke DigiTech wechselte. Es wurde von Jason Lamb entworfen und war dafür bekannt, dass Kurt Cobain es als satirische Ergänzung auf seinem Pedalboard nutzte, obwohl seine aggressive Schaltung zu einem Standard für Alternative Rock und Metal der 90er Jahre wurde. Die Regler sind einzigartig beschriftet: „Loud“ (Pegel), „Low“ (Bass), „High“ (Höhen) und „Grunge“ (Verstärkung), um die Ästhetik dieser Ära widerzuspiegeln. Es verfügt über ein Dual-Output-Design mit einem Standard-Verstärkerausgang und einem speziellen Mixer-Ausgang inklusive Boxensimulation. Das Pedal ist für seinen extremen Verstärkungsbereich bekannt, der selbst bei niedrigsten Einstellungen gesättigt bleibt.

This high-gain distortion pedal was originally released by DOD as the FX69 before being transitioned to the DigiTech brand. Designed by Jason Lamb, it was famously used by Kurt Cobain as a satirical addition to his pedalboard, though its aggressive circuit became a staple for 90s alternative rock and metal. The controls are uniquely labeled "Loud" (level), "Low" (butt), "High" (face), and "Grunge" (gain) to reflect the aesthetic of the era. It features a dual-output design, providing a standard amplifier output alongside a dedicated mixer output with cabinet emulation. The pedal is known for its extreme gain range, which remains saturated even at its lowest settings.

Interne Spannungsschienen wandeln standardmäßige 9V DC auf 30V um, um den Headroom der Schaltung zu maximieren und dynamische Transparenz zu gewährleisten. Die Klangformung erfolgt über einen parametrischen Mitten-EQ mit einstellbarer Mittenfrequenz und Bandbreiten-Q-Schaltern sowie dedizierten Bass- und Treble-Reglern. Tonal sculpting is driven by a parametric Mid EQ with adjustable frequency center and bandwidth Q switches alongside dedicated Treble and Bass controls.
