The OCD was the first pedal to use Mosfets as clipping devices. Another first was their configuration as "hard clippers connected to v-ref" instead of to ground, as was the norm. These things contribute greatly as to why the OCD has such touch-sensitivity...why they react so well when the strings are hit hard or soft, and why they sound & feel different than all other pedals out there, 90% of which are just slight tweaks of the Tube Screamer.

The legendary Big Muff fuzz has been around so long, been on so many classic recordings, and been through so many variations that every guitarist out there has a favorite version of its iconic tone. JHS Pedals wanted to pay tribute to that undeniably classic fuzz pedal, but they couldn't come to a consensus about which Muff was king. With the Muffuletta, their indecision is every musicians gain. JHS Pedals crammed five all-analog re-creations of the pedal's most beloved tones into this box and they even threw in a JHS-exclusive tone that is their unique take on the historic stomp. No matter what Big Muff era you prefer, you can get 'em all in the JHS Muffuletta fuzz pedal. The Army Green version provides exactly the same circuit, sounds, control and tone as the classic black version - only with an updated stunning finish!

The Bonsai is JHS tribute to one of the greatest pedals ever created – the Tube Screamer. Following in the steps of their Muffuletta, the Bonsai utilizes a simple rotary knob to switch through nine classic, vintage, rare, or hard to find variations of the Screamer. The Bonsai is exact replication, not emulation.  When you choose a mode on the Bonsai rotary, you are actually activating components specific to each mode and playing the circuit Josh chose along with all the quirks, drift, vintage mojo, and individuality that a vintage pedal has.

With the Tumnus Deluxe, Brian has set a new standard. Thanks in large part to the design’s articulate-sounding buffer, all of the clarity, punch, and detailed breakup of the original Tumnus are still there. But if you prefer the sound of true bypass performance, just hit the switch on the side of the pedal for uncolored tonal purity. Brian also injected the Tumnus Deluxe with a level of tonal flexibility not previously available on this style of drive. Active bass and mid controls, as well as a regular treble control (the same as the pedal it was inspired by), encourages you to sculpt the tone from this pedal to the demands of your rig. Whether you’re boosting a driven amp or another pedal, using the pedal as a stand-alone overdrive, or crowning it your “always on” tonal sweetener, you’ll find the Tumnus Deluxe’s wide-ranging controls make it much more than just another clone. The Tumnus Deluxe delivers all the string-to-string clarity, high-headroom output, and amp-like breakup that made this style of overdrive pedal so iconic. But its 3-band EQ will enhance your tone with warm low end, instantly identifiable midrange, and just the right amount of top-end sparkle. Unlike some other similarly voiced pedals, the Tumnus Deluxe has enough tonal control to perfect your sound through any rig. The buffer inside the Tumnus Deluxe sounds so good, you might just find it enhances your tone whether the pedal is on or off. But Wampler knows that some players prefer the clean signal path of true bypass operation. With the Tumnus Deluxe’s side-mounted buffered/true bypass control, attaining that uncolored sound is as easy as flipping a switch.

In this aptly named box you'll find a huge range of killer high gain tones. From crisp, mid-driven 80's metal, to scooped, modern down-tuned brutality, this little box of sonic mayhem does it all. The two independent channels can be voiced similarly so that one channel can be used as a solo boost, or they can be voiced entirely differently by using the mid range control in conjunction with the 3 position mid frequency select switch. Add in separate weight controls to shape the low end response of each channel, and a global hi/low eq section that allows you to fine tune your particular amp and cab combination, and you've got a serious tool to create a supremely heavy sounding rig.
On top of all this we've added an extremely responsive and hassle free noise gate that will ensure dead silent operation with even the most obscene amounts of gain added.

The Empress buffer+ was designed to be the complete I/O interface for the pedal board, while maintaining the highest fidelity to your guitar's signal.

Signal loss due to long, un-buffered cable runs is an issue that has plagued guitar players for decades. The primary goal of the buffer+ is to eliminate this signal loss, ensuring that your tone is unchanged by your cables.

Additionally, all the connectivity of your pedal board is consolidated to make set up quick and easy. The buffer+ also has a very handy set of features that make life just a little better. Noise filters, input pads, switchable clean boost and input loading are all powerful tools available on the buffer+

The pedal that inspired this circuit has been around for a long time in various forms but most versions of it have too much of a “Hi Fi” sound about them, they fail to get the right mix of clarity and bass that is needed to make this overdrive sing. Brian has added further gain capabilities to this circuit, and added a bass control that controls all the harmonics from smooth and creamy to tight and crunchy.

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of BOSS compact pedals, BOSS and JHS Pedals have come together in a historic creative collaboration between the two industry leaders. Housed in the classic BOSS compact design, the JB-2 Angry Driver pairs the tones of the iconic BOSS BD-2 Blues Driver with JHS Pedals’ popular Angry Charlie. Working closely together, the two pedal innovators have developed an all-new combined circuit with refined sound and performance perfectly tuned for dual-mode drive operation.

The JB-2 Angry Driver features three dual-concentric knobs that provide independent drive, tone, and level control for each overdrive type. Via a six-position mode selector, you can use each overdrive independently or combine them in series and parallel configurations. With the ability to blend the Blues Driver’s famously expressive low-to-mid gain tones with the Angry Charlie’s aggressive rock voice in any combination, the JB-2 Angry Driver delivers unmatched range and versatility from a single overdrive pedal.

This micro-sized noise reduction pedal packs the full functionality of the brand's larger professional gating circuits into a highly compact footprint. Operating as an all-analog downward expander, it utilizes proprietary patent-pending Time Vector Integration hardware to eliminate signal noise without inducing digital artifacts or aliasing. The specialized architecture features an integrated loop function executed via a space-saving auxiliary jack that allows the tracking mechanism to monitor the direct guitar output continuously. This enables the device to dynamically differentiate between hard staccato riffs and long sustained note tails. Because it continuously references the clean incoming instrument level, it provides smooth, transparent volume attenuation across various amplifier gain structures without demanding constant threshold readjustments.

Robert Keeley und seine Crew sind Zappa Fans. Manische Fans.
Shut up and play that pedal!

Robert Keeley and his crew are fans of Zappa. Rabid fans. The Keeley Bubble Tron explores some of the famous, but very hard to find sounds of the past. Keeley Engineering has created another batch of Neo-Vintage effects that never were. This time they made the Flanger and Phaser work dynamic with your pick attack and strength. Then add the Random Stepped Filter with the new “M-Style Synth” bandpass shaping feature, and you have a lead guitarist’s dream tool. Shut up and play your effect pedal! Yeah, you play this thing like an extension of your mind and fingers.

Featuring three modes of operation, the Bubble Tron’s Flanger section draws on inspiration from the MicMix DynaFlanger.
This incredible piece of gear was used by Frank Zappa to create many of the sounds in the late 70’s to mid-80’s in his solos. A dynamic flanger is one that starts and stops based on your pick attack.
The Bubble Tron uses your playing to start and stop the flanger. Most flangers just cycle ‘round and ‘round and there is constant swooshing in the background. Not with the Bubble Tron, it only cycles as you play. Also most flangers offer either positive or negative feedback – the Bubble Tron’s DynaMo Flange allows you to try either.

The DynaMoPhase section of the Bubble Tron is actually two phasers. One has an LFO that you set the speed of with the Rate Control (while it’s depth is dynamically controlled) and the other is a true Dynamic Phaser. It starts and stops based on your pick attack.
Turn off the standard phaser and just run it as DynaPhase by turning the Rate Control off.

The only part of the Bubble Tron that isn’t dynamic is its Filter Section, with which you can control the different ramps or its random nature. It features a random vintage synth-style bandpass filter and gives you some incredible keyboard like sounds.

The Bubble Tron Dynamic Flanger Phaser is made in Edmond, Oklahoma by rabid Zappa fans.

The Julia is a fully analog, feature-rich chorus/vibrato packed with a wide array of tonal landscapes begging to be explored. Updated for 2020, Julia now has top mounted jacks, soft switch bypassing and updated art from Adam Forster.

Julia is able to produce mild smooth chorus, to seasick vibrato and everywhere in between. With controls like Lag, Dry-Chorus-Vibrato Blend, and selectable analog LFO wave shapes, you are able to dial in all types of classic and unique chorus/vibrato sounds; some settings giving a familiar feel while others are not found on traditional chorus pedals.

A special feature of the Julia is the Lag control. The Lag knob lets you set the center delay time that the LFO effect modulates from. From smooth and tight modulation at lower settings, to warbling detune at maximum, the Lag knob adds a new dimension to the traditional Chorus/Vibrato landscape.
