Deluxe Big Muff Pi 1978
FUZZ
COMPRESSOR
Description
The Electro-Harmonix Deluxe Big Muff Pi 1978 is a vintage analog fuzz and distortion effects unit that combines a classic late-seventies op-amp Big Muff circuit with an integrated Soul Preacher compressor. Housed in a large-format metal enclosure, the hardware features dedicated controls for compressor volume and threshold alongside a blend switch to mix parallel signals. The circuit utilizes specialized components and a hardwired power configuration typical of the era's large-box designs. It provides sustained, heavy saturation paired with dynamic parallel compression routing capabilities. What's missing here?
