Der Electro-Harmonix Octave Multiplexer ist ein monophoner, analoger Sub-Oktav-Generator. Er erzeugt tiefe, bassige Töne eine Oktave unterhalb der gespielten Noten. Im Gegensatz zu polyphonen Oktav-Pedalen ist er darauf ausgelegt, einzelne Noten zu verfolgen, und kann beim Spielen mehrerer Noten einzigartige, glitchy Effekte erzeugen. Er verfügt über einen "Hi Filter"- und einen "Lo Filter"-Regler, um den Sub-Oktav-Sound zu formen, sowie einen "Blend"-Regler, um das Effektsignal mit dem trockenen Signal zu mischen. The Octave Multiplexer is a monophonic octave pedal, meaning it works best with single notes. It can struggle with cords or complex harmonies, often producing glitchy or warbling sounds when used with multiple notes.

Das Pitchfork von EHX ist neben dem Whammy und dem TC Electronic Sub ‚N‘ up das wahrscheinlich beliebteste Pitch-Pedal, das es auf den Pedal-Boards der Welt gibt. Von einem Bekannten, der sich ausgiebig mit dem Löten von Pedalen beschäftigt, habe ich mir sagen lassen, dass der Bau eines wirklich sauber arbeitenden und verlässlich trackenden Pitch-Pedals alles andere als leicht ist. Und das kann man sich gut vorstellen: Viele Pitch-Pedale tracken irgendwie seltsam, klingen entweder im Clean- oder Gain-Bereich jeweils zu matschig und undifferenziert oder können mit bestimmten Frequenzbereichen nicht gut arbeiten. Selbst das von mir hochgeschätzte Red Panda Tensor hat viele Stärken – die Klarheit des Pitch-Effekts ist es nicht.

Das Pico IHM ist in einem pico-großen Gehäuse von Electro-Harmonix untergebracht und verfügt über einfache Bedienelemente. Der KEY-Regler legt in Verbindung mit der #-Taste die Tonart der erzeugten Harmonien fest. INTERVAL wählt eine von 10 harmonischen Intervalloptionen aus (siehe unten). Die MIX- und VOL-Regler stellen jeweils den Wet/Dry-Mix und die Ausgangslautstärke ein. Durch Gedrückthalten der #-Taste wird der Dual-Modus aktiviert, der der erzeugten Harmonie eine zweite Stimme hinzufügt, um atemberaubende 3-stimmige Harmonien zu erzeugen, wenn sie mit dem trockenen Signal gemischt werden.

Create 2 or 3-part harmony in any key with silky smooth operation and lightning fast-tracking to keep up with any speedy lick. With 10 Interval options, a MIX knob for precision voice blending and space-saving footprint, the Pico IHM is the perfect pocket sideman.

Housed in Electro-Harmonix’s pico-sized chassis, the Pico IHM comes complete with a simple control set. The KEY knob, in conjunction with the # button sets the key of the harmonies produced. INTERVAL selects from one of 10 harmonic interval options (see below). The MIX and VOL knobs adjust the wet/dry mix and output volume respectively. Holding down the # button enters Dual Mode which adds a second voice to the harmony produced for stunning 3-part harmonies when mixed with the dry signal.

The Holy Grail Max delivers four types of studio quality reverb: SPRING, HALL, PLATE and REVERSE all designed for the discerning guitarist but also great with other instruments on stage or in the studio. Awesome on guitar and bass, the EHX Hot Wax fuses our Hot Tubes and Crayon pedals into one powerful dual-overdrive. Each section can be engaged independently, for two very different overdrive flavors, or together to create a massive overdriven sound.
The Hot Wax includes a two-knob EQ (BASS and TREBLE) for extensive tonal control, and a BLEND control to mix between your dry and distorted sound. These three controls are active with either or both distortion sections engaged, and bypassed when both overdrive section are turned off.

Das EHX Lizard Queen Octave Fuzz wurde ursprünglich von Josh Scott von JHS Pedals und dem Grafikdesigner Daniel Danger als Hommage an Electro-Harmonix in der Blütezeit des Unternehmens in den 1970er Jahren entworfen. Das EHX Lizard Queen Octave Fuzz ist eine Version des Pedals in Nanogröße, die von den Ingenieuren von Electro-Harmonix zum Leben erweckt wurde und alle Töne und Schwingungen des ursprünglichen Schaltungsdesigns von Josh besitzt.  

Der Sound ist inspiriert von EHXs Fuzz-Pedigree mit einer einzigartigen analogen Oktavschaltung, die den Vibe des Originaldesigns hat, das erstmals 2022 in der JHS Show vorgestellt wurde. So entsteht ein völlig neuer und einzigartiger EHX-Fuzz-Sound, den wir noch nie zuvor gehört haben. Um die Geschichte weiter zu erzählen, ist das Pedal mit Vintage EHX-inspirierten Grafiken geschmückt, die von Daniel entworfen wurden.  


Originally designed by Josh Scott of JHS Pedals and graphic designer, Daniel Danger as a homage to Electro-Harmonix in what Josh and Daniel consider the company’s design heyday of the 1970s, the EHX Lizard Queen Octave Fuzz is a nano-sized version of the pedal brought to life by the engineers at Electro-Harmonix that has all of the tones and vibes of the original circuit design by Josh. The tone is inspired by EHX’s fuzz pedigree with a unique analog octave up circuit that has all the vibe of the original design first featured on the JHS Show in 2022. This creates a completely new and unique EHX fuzz sound we’ve never heard before. To further tell the tale, the pedal is adorned with vintage EHX-inspired graphics designed by Daniel.

Housed in EHX’s Nano-sized chassis, the EHX Lizard Queen is a fixed gain fuzz pedal which features Volume, Octave, and Balance knobs. Volume controls the overall output volume level. The Octave control adjusts the level of the octave-up signal from zero to full octave chaos. Perfect for dialing in a crushing rhythm sound or a chimey, clanging lead sound. The Balance knob sets the tone balance between the smoother Shadow setting and the raspy, biting Sun setting. The effect of the Balance control is especially apparent with the octave set high.
