Description
AGATA is an amplifier/driver designed by effettidiclara.
It is built, assembled and painted entirely by hand in Italy.
It can be used as a simple BOOST with very high gain (over 30dB!), as a DRIVE by choosing the preferred type and amount of saturation or by mixing the two sections for a transparent OVERDRIVE rich in harmonics to reach ranges close to a dynamic FUZZ with the two stages at maximum. In the pedalboard, it finds its place both at the beginning and at the end of the chain: before other overdrives/distortion units for more gain and detail, then as a volume.
The wide frequency response leaves the bass range unaffected so that it can be used for both bass and guitar. In the new V3 version, the mechanical true bypass has been replaced by an electromechanical true bypass relay, which is controlled by a click-free switch.
In addition to noiseless switching, the advantages are longer durability and reliability thanks to a system that is less susceptible to mechanical wear than the 3PDT switch.Media
