Description
The OCF-1 is Echopark’s updated take on the classic octave fuzz circuit. It keeps the aggressive, harmonic-rich voice of the original designs while adding modern features that improve clarity, output, and usability.
A built-in buffered boost at the input delivers over 12dB of clean headroom above unity, giving your signal extra punch and presence before it hits the fuzz stage. The circuit uses original-spec 2N3565 silicon transistors for vintage tone and swaps in silicon diodes for a harder-clipping, less compressed distortion than the Germanium typically found in vintage units.
