Everest

SUSTAINER
OVERDRIVE
Description
Delivering medium-gain overdrive and fat boost tones, the Everest is an analog overdrive based on the Pete Cornish SS-2 Soft Sustain circuit. The circuit architecture integrates Texas Instruments operational amplifiers alongside a matched pair of 1970s new-old-stock military-spec germanium clipping diodes to provide smooth, dynamic compression and touch sensitivity.
A dedicated three-knob interface controls output volume, overall gain saturation, and high-frequency roll-off. An integrated discrete Class-A buffer and line driver prevents signal degradation across extended cable runs when the pedal is bypassed. The unit is housed in a compact metal enclosure with top-quality audio jacks and a laser-etched faceplate.Media
