Er wurde präzise getuned, um einen weitgehend justierbaren, modern klingenden Distortion-Effekt in hoher Qualität zu erzeugen. Gleichzeitig zeichnet es dich durch eine echte Old-School-Schaltung aus, die für eine Portion „Grind“ sorgt. Das Ergebnis ist ein Sound, der einem sofort vertraut und gleichzeitig wundervoll einzigartig ist. Wünschen Sie sich die Strahlkraft und den straffen Sound eines Overdrives? Kriegen Sie. Steht Ihnen der Sinn nach Fuzz-Sounds mit niedriger bis mittlerer Verstärkung, perfekt für Dropped Tunings und Bässe? Kriegen Sie. Möchten Sie jede Nuance Ihres Sounds kontrollieren; von scharfem Klirren am Rande des Zusammenbruchs bis zu heftigster, bühnenerschütternder Sättigung? Dann ist dies genau das richtige Pedal für Sie.
Dieses mit größter Sorgfalt hergestellte Pedal ist mit sechs Reglern ausgestattet, mit denen Sie Ihren Sound maßschneidern können: Level, Weight, Gain, Bass, Middle und Treble. Die rote Leuchtdiode zeigt an, wenn Sie mit dem FlexiSwitch® -fähigen Fußschalter die Verzerrung aktiviert haben.
Mit dem Gain-Regler des Zoar decken Sie die gesamte Klang-Landschaft ab; von knirschenden Abgründen bis zu markerschütternden Gipfeln. Der Charakter der Verzerrung hängt stark von der Einstellung des Weight-Reglers sowie vom Pickup Ihrer Gitarre ab. Mit dem EQ-Bereich des Pedals können Sie den Sound weiter verfeinern.
Obwohl der passive Dreiband-Equalizer seine Wurzeln in einer sehr vertrauten Vergangenheit hat, wurde er subtil modernisiert. Diese Art der Klangformung mag zunächst schlicht wirken, zeigt sich aber dann doch als komplex und ausgesprochen interaktiv. Hier sind ein paar Hinweise, wie Sie den Zoar besser verstehen und optimal einsetzen können.
Wenn die Regler Bass, Middle und Treble alle auf Null gestellt sind, durchläuft kein Signal das Pedal. So funktioniert ein passiver Equalizer nun mal.
Wenn Sie einen dieser drei Frequenzbereich-Regler auf einen höheren Wert einstellen, wirkt sich das auch auf die beiden anderen Frequenzbereiche aus.
Wenn Sie alle drei Bänder auf „12 Uhr“ (Mittelposition) einstellen, ergibt sich ein völlig anderer Frequenzbereich, als wenn Sie sie alle auf „9 Uhr“ einstellen – und das gilt natürlich auch für jede andere abgeglichene Position.
Wie Sie sehen – eine sehr interaktive Sache. Ein guter Ausgangspunkt ist es, alle drei Frequenzbandregler auf „12 Uhr“ (Mittelposition) zu stellen und dann mit jedem einzelnen Regler zu experimentieren.
Mit dem Dreiband-Equalizer und dem Gain-Regler bieten sich Ihnen nahezu unbegrenzte Möglichkeiten zum Maßschneidern Ihres Sounds. Aber das echte „Betriebsgeheimnis“ des Zoar ist der Weight-Regler. Mit diesem Regler legen Sie fest, wie groß der Anteil des Tieftonbereichs ist, der in die EQ-Schaltung geleitet wird. Damit lässt sich der Klangcharakter dramatisch verändern. Stellen Sie einfach die Regler des Dreiband-Equalizers auf „12 Uhr“ (Mittelposition) ein und drehen Sie am WeightRegler, um ein Gefühl dafür zu bekommen, wie er den Klang beeinflusst. Von einem reinen Clean-Boost über eine HighGain-Verzerrung bis hin zu Overdrive und knackigem Hi-FiFuzz bietet Ihnen diese Funktion das volle Spektrum.
Der Level-Regler hat etwa bei „12 Uhr“ (Mittelposition) den Verstärkungsfaktor Eins (Unity Gain) – dies hängt jedoch von der Stellung der anderen Regler ab. Neben der Steuerung der Ausgangslautstärke spielt es auch eine gewisse Rolle bei der Steuerung der Klangcharakteristik des Zoar. Indem Sie den Level-Regler und die drei Frequenzbänder des Equalizers (Anheben der Frequenzbänder und Reduzieren der Ausgangslautstärke) kombinieren, können Sie dramatische Effekte erzielen, die an traditionelle Tiefpassfilter erinnern. 
Möchten Sie Ihrem Sound die sprichwörtlichen Flügel verleihen? Dann versuchen Sie, Zoar mit höherer Spannung zu betreiben! Zoar kann mit einer Spannung von bis zu 18 V Gleichstrom betrieben werden. Höhere Spannungen verändern den Frequenzgang; Dynamik und Ansprechzeit verbessern sich. Wenn Sie eine 18-Volt-Stromversorgung verwenden, klingen die cleanen Signalanteile offener, die Verzerrung wirkt druckvoller, während einzelne Noten artikulierter zu hören sind, der Treble-Regler deckt ein breiteres Spektrum ab, ohne rau zu klingen – und der Ausgangspegel ist beinahe doppelt so hoch! Das Resultat ähnelt durchaus dem Sound einer Wand aus kraftvollen Röhrenverstärkern!

From defined sparkle and tightness of an overdrive to low-medium gain fuzz that’s perfect for drop tuned guitars and basses, Zoar can do it all. Zoar lets you dial in and control every nuance of your tone from jangly on-the-verge of break up to blowing the walls out heavy saturation.
While having its roots in a very familiar past, the passive 3-band EQ has been finely tuned for modern tones. While this style of tone shaping seems simple on the surface, it is deceptively complex and highly interactive - yet surprisingly easy to instantly dial in dozens of mind blowing sounds.  
This meticulously crafted box has six knobs that allow you to truly customize your sound with the Level, Weight, Gain, Bass, Middle, and Treble controls. 
The Gain control on Zoar™ goes from the edge of break up all the way over the cliff into the crunchy, grinding abyss. The character of the distortion is heavily dependent on the setting of the Weight control as well as the pickup type and further fine-tuned by the EQ section.
The 3-Band EQ and Gain controls give you nearly unlimited options with great focus and sensitive precision, but the real powerhouse of Zoar™ is the Weight control. This control dictates the amount of low end that is passed into the circuit, thus controlling the entire character of the pedal. Simply dial in the 3-Band EQ to 12 o’clock and adjust the Weight to see how drastically it dictates your sound. From a mere clean boost to a high gain distortion to overdrive to the crispy Hi-Fi fuzz territory, this function gives you everything.
The Level control hits unity around noon, but this is dependent on where the other controls are set. In addition to controlling the output volume, it also plays a small part in controlling the voice of Zoar™. By adjusting the Level control with any combination of EQ (boosting the frequency bands and cutting the output volume), you can achieve drastically different curves that have the feel of the more traditional low pass filter type tone control.
Want to elevate your sonic spirit to a higher level? Try running Zoar™ at higher voltage! Zoar™ can handle power up to 18v DC. Higher voltages will yield a different frequency response with more defined dynamics and a faster response. When powered at 18v, the range of clean tones are widened, dirty tones become punchier with better note articulation, low frequencies are tightened, higher frequencies will cover a broader spectrum without becoming harsh and the output volume nearly doubles! The experience is not unlike plugging into a wall of high wattage tube amplifiers!

Bei niedrigeren Gain-Einstellungen erhältst du den knackigen Ton, den du vom Original so liebst, aber sobald du den Gain-Regler über 12 Uhr stellst, hören die Ähnlichkeiten auf. 
Dieser rein analoge Tri-Mode-Overdrive mit Soft Clipping ist der Nachfolger des klassischen Screamer-Schaltkreises, hat aber eine ganz eigene Stimme. The Blumes is an overdrive based on the Plumes circuit that is ideal for bass players and all purveyors of low-end. While embodying the key characteristics and features of the Plumes, they went ahead and modified this circuit with double the gain and a deeper bass response to retain all the low end. At lower gain settings, you’ll get all of the crunchy tone you love about the original, but once you get above noon on the Gain control, that’s where the similarities stop. 
This all-analog tri-mode overdrive with soft clipping carries the torch of the classic screamer circuit but has a voice all its own. And thanks to its +/- power supply it utilizes bipolar power, which gives you more dynamics, clarity, and all the headroom you could ever desire. The end result is a more three-dimensional tone with added clarity that really pushes a nice tube amp over the edge. 
And much like the Plumes, this pedal offers three different clipping options for your desired low end face melting needs.

Kontrolliere ein Volumen und FX-Parameter ohne dein Pedalboard mit einem weiteren großen Pedal noch voller zu packen. Über interne Trim-Potis kann das Minimum-Volumen des Pedals eingestellt werden und wenn du willst, kannst du auch die Funktionsrichtung umkehren – ein weiterer interner Schalter macht’s möglich.

Das Grand Orbiter Phaser-Pedal ist umschaltbar von Phaser- auf Vibrato-Effekte und verfügt über einen Dreifach-Modulationsbereich-Schalter sowie einen LFO-Kill-Switch, um den Effekt alternativ auch manuell, als feststehendes Resonanzfilter "durchstimmen" zu können. Der Dreifach-Modulationsbereich-Schalter bietet die Modi Slow Sweep, Fixed Resonance und Fast Sweep. Mit dem Master-Rate-Regler lässt sich die Geschwindigkeit in den verschiedenen Modi feinabstimmen. The Grand Orbiter is a four stage analog phaser that offers classic and unconventional phaser and vibrato sounds, it can go from stationary and resonant to fast and swirly. The Grand Orbiter can be turned from phaser to vibrato via a dedicated switch and features a three way toggle switch to select between the ranges of modulation. One of these ranges, kills the LFO and allows the Grand Orbiter to work as a fixed resonant filter. The three ranges offer the following modes: Slow Sweep, Fixed Resonance and Fast Sweep. The Rate control allows to fine tune the speed of the LFO in each one of the modes. It can be activated in standard latching operation or in momentary operation, by just holding the footswitch down for as long as you'd use the effect. The Grand Orbiter is a True Bypass pedal and is hand made in Ohio, USA. The Grand Orbiter V3 uses silent relay-based soft touch switching. Audio will not pass without power.

Jeder der drei Modi bietet eine Verzögerungszeit von bis zu einer Sekunde, was eine längere Verzögerung als bei unseren anderen Delay-Pedalen ermöglicht. Von der 12 Uhr-Stellung und zurück sind es 500 Millisekunden bis Null, was seinen eigenen Charakter hat. Von 500 Millisekunden bis zu einer Sekunde Verzögerungszeit ist es ein ganz anderes Biest. Stelle eine kürzere Verzögerungszeit ein und es erzeugt eine Menge Atmosphäre und Vibes. Wenn du weiter aufdrehst, erhältst du rhythmische Verzögerungen, die sich perfekt zum Strumming eignen und deinen Riffs zusätzliche Atmosphäre verleihen. Each of the three modes offers up to one second of delay time which allows it to be a longer delay than our other delay pedals. From noon and back is 500 milliseconds to zero, which has its own character. From 500 milliseconds to one second of delay time, it’s an entirely different beast. Dial them in for shorter delay times where they really excel and add loads of atmosphere and vibes. Push them further for rhythmic delays that are perfect for strumming and adding extra ambiance for your riffs. Das EarthQuaker Devices Hizumitas wurde speziell für die einzigartige Wata von der legendären Experimental-Band Boris entwickelt, eine der härtesten Bands, die jemals aus Japan hervorgegangen sind. Das Hizumitas ist eine originalgetreue Nachbildung von Watas Distortion Pedal Elk BM Sustainar. Das Elk Sustainar ist eine japanische Variante des bekannteren Triangle BMP. Während der Entwicklung analysierten die Designer von EQD mehrere Vintage-Exemplare des BMP sowie verschiedene Versionen des Elk und stellten schnell fest, dass all diese Pedale sich recht deutlich voneinander unterschieden. Um klanglich den sprichwörtlichen Geist in der Flasche einzufangen, gab es nur eine Möglichkeit: Sie mussten Watas Originalpedal in die Finger kriegen. Glücklicherweise war sie so großzügig, ihr geliebtes Pedal um die halbe Welt zu schicken und EQD entdeckte, dass es etwas Besonderes hatte, das die anderen nicht hatten: eine besonders heftige Sättigung, eine ordentliche "Schippe Dreck" und einen massiven Bassbereich. Und dennoch lieferte dieses Pedal ein klares, dynamisches Klangbild mit genug Mitten und Höhen, um sich bei Boris durchzusetzen. Das Ziel war klar: EarthQuaker Devices wollten mit dem Hizumitas all diese Eigenschaften unverfälscht nachbilden! Das Hizumitas sorgt für heftigste Verzerrung und sanftes Sustain. Darunter liegt ein düsterer, körniger Grit, der so klingt, als ob die angeschlossenen Boxen gleich platzen müssten. Dennoch bleiben eine erstaunliche Klarheit und ein aufgeräumtes Klangbild, das man bei einem derart aggressiven Effekt nicht erwarten würde. Der Sustain-Regler hat einen großen Sättigungsbereich, selbst kleine Änderungen haben einen großen Einfluss auf den Gesamtklang. Das Hizumitas reagiert sehr sensibel auf verschiedene Pickup-Typen und Spieltechniken. Power Chords klingen dramatisch und wuchtig, während offene Akkorde dynamisch und mit fantastischer Notentrennung rüberkommen. Und Single Note Leads klingen vor allem am Hals-Pickup strahlend und kraftvoll. Der Tone-Regler ist für diese Art von Distortion untypisch und kann in Verbindung mit der Sustain-Einstellung den Charakter der Verzerrung drastisch verändern. Dreht man den Regler mit dem Uhrzeigersinn werden die Bässe angehoben, dreht man den Regler gegen den Uhrzeigersinn werden die Höhen betont. Der Tone-Regler kann von einer aggressiven Mid-Range bis zu durchdringenden Höhen gehen, wenn man ihn gegen den Uhrzeigersinn dreht. Wenn man ihn im Uhrzeigersinn dreht, werden die Mitten weniger präsent, die Höhen werden gezähmt und ein gewaltiges, donnerndes Low-End kommt in den Vordergrund. Der Volume-Regler bietet massiven Output Gain - die Unity-Gain-Einstellung liegt etwa bei der 9- / 10-Uhr-Position des Volume-Reglers. Bei jeder höheren Einstellung geht der Signalpegel durch die Decke.

The EarthQuaker Devices Hizumitas was designed for the one and only Wata from the legendary experimental band Boris, one of the heaviest bands ever to come out of Japan. Hizumitas is a faithful recreation of Wata's go-to distortion pedal, the Elk BM Sustainar. The Elk is a Japanese variant of the very well-known Triangle BMP. The designers at EQD tried several vintage BMP's during development, found that each pedal was wildly different and realized that to truly capture the magic they needed the original. Wata graciously sent her beloved pedal halfway around the world, and EQD discovered that it had something special the others didn't have: heavy saturation with a gritty edge and massive bottom while maintaining a clear and dynamic tone with enough mids and top end to cut through any sludge. The studious wizards at EQD have built all of those characteristics into the Hizumitas! The pedal brings loads of heavy distortion and smooth sustain and an underlying grit that sounds like the speakers are on the verge of ripping apart while delivering amazing and unexpected clarity from such an aggressive sounding pedal. The Sustain control has a wide range of saturation, meaning even small changes will significantly affect the overall tone. Hizumitas responds excellently to all types of pickups and playing dynamics. Your power chords will sound huge and heavy, while open chords will be dynamic with fantastic note separation, and single note leads will come across smooth and powerful, especially with the neck pickup. The Tone control is atypical for this type of distortion and can drastically change the distortion's character in conjunction with the Sustain setting. Bass frequencies are boosted clockwise, and treble frequencies are boosted counterclockwise. The tone control can go from an aggressive mid-range grind to piercing highs as you turn it counterclockwise. As you turn it clockwise, the mids become less present, the highs are tamed, and a humongous, thundering low end comes to the forefront. The Volume control offers massive output gain with unity at around 9-10 o'clock and beyond that, prepare to hear and feel the power of Hizumitas!

Eine zusätzliche Boost-Stufe gibt dir einen Kick, wenn du ihn brauchst; bei auf Null gesetztem Boost-Regler erhältst du reinen Echoplex-Ton. Es ist unser Vorverstärker-Kanal-Pedal fürs Dauer-Eingeschaltet-Lassen, betrieben mit der originalen 22 V Betriebsspannung für einen punchigen Sound mit viel Headroom, der überall gut klingt.

Our Epoch Boost needs little introduction: it’s our version of the Echoplex EP-3 preamp, featuring crystal-clear tonal enhancement with all the funky output filtering and supply voltage that gave the original tape unit its distinct flavor. An added boost gives you a kick when you need it, but keeping that control at zero gives you pure Echoplex tone. It’s our preeminent always-on device, running at the original 22 V operating voltage to give you a high-headroom punch that sounds great anywhere you put it.
