32 Volt Headroom - This updated version uses a modern charge pump circuit to  increase the 9 volt input to a stable 32 volts to add more headroom to the EQ section.

The Grunge Clone is a high-gain distortion pedal based on the classic DOD Grunge, but with added features. It is built on the same circuit board as the Metal X and Corrosion clones, and in addition to the original circuit, it includes additional hard and soft clipping options for more tonal variety. It also doubles as a signal buffer, with a Klon-style buffered bypass to prevent oscillation feedback and maintain signal integrity. The pedal is designed to be a durable and modern version of the original, with a reliable footswitch.
