Was ist daran so besonders?

Die meisten E-Gitarren sind mit passiven Tonabnehmern ausgestattet und haben eine entsprechend hohe Ausgangsimpedanz. Bei Verwendung eines Gitarrenkabels von 6m oder länger geht im Höhenbereich je länger je mehr vom Gitarren-Sound verloren. Ein Puffer kompensiert diese Signalbeeinträchtigung und somit den Sound-Verlust für lange Kabel – selbst, wenn die Stimmfunktion aus ist.

Der ULTRA-BUFFER verbessert die Klangqualität im Bypass-Betrieb und erhält bei Verwendung eines langen Kabels somit den Sound, ganz gleich, ob es direkt mit dem Tuner oder zunächst mit einem komplexen Effekt-Board verbunden ist.

Der Pitchblack XS erlaubt Wechsel zwischen dem True Bypass- und dem Ultra Buffer-Modus, um in jeder Lebenslage den optimalen Sound zu erzielen.

The Pitchblack XS not only features a true bypass for outputting the sound exactly as it was input, but now includes a built-in ULTRA BUFFER.

Why is this important?

The majority of electric guitars use passive pickups with a high impedance output. When you are using a cable there is a loss of tone, usually high frequencies, after about 6 m (around 18 feet) and this problem gets worse the longer your cable. A buffer boosts the signal over long cables to avoid loss of tone, keeping it clean and clear - even when your pedal is off.

The ULTRA BUFFER enhances the sound quality in bypass mode, so that you can still maintain audio quality even when using a long cable to connect to the tuner, or when inserting the tuner into a complex effects board.

On the Pitchblack XS, you can switch between true bypass and the ULTRA BUFFER, according to your tastes and environment.

This digital multi-mode envelope filter and auto-wah pedal is designed to provide versatile frequency-sweeping effects for both guitar and bass. It features a unique "Humanizer" mode that utilizes formant filters to mimic human vowel sounds, along with standard up and down wah, a sharp resonant mode, and a tempo-synced auto-wah. The Justin Chancellor Cry Baby Wah is a multi-tool of sonic craftsmanship, combining three separate effects into a single pedal: the fluid expressiveness of a custom midrange filter, the bright aggression of a custom wah circuit, and the chainsaw grind of a vintage fuzz. It's the perfect complement to bass player Justin Chancellor's multi-dimensional role in the band Tool. Whether opening up soundscapes with chords and harmonics or syncing up with guitarist Adam Jones to perform arresting single-note unison runs, Justin goes above and beyond the traditional boundaries of his instrument to help compose the band's multi-layered tunes. He is, without a doubt, one of the modern pioneer users of effects on bass, and he keeps a carefully configured pedalboard at his disposal for crafting tones and exploring sounds. This custom Cry Baby Wah combines some of his favorite ways to do just that—filter, wah, and fuzz.

With the popularity of 5- and 6-string basses going beyond fad status and becoming mainstream, we added a switch to adjust the bass frequency to extend into those lower registers. When you play your instrument, it "tracks" the note you play and produce a sound one octave below to mix in with the note you play.  The 'Blue Label' model has a couple of new features that enhance the tracking range and improves the control of the sound.

When we released our original Compressor back in 2011, it quickly became a favourite among guitar and bass players alike who were searching for something more than the typical oversimplified controls found on most compressor pedals. Although our original Compressor sounded great on bass (and still does!) we set out to do even better. 

On top of the full range of features and controls normally only seen in high end studio equipment, such as input and gain reduction metering, independent attack and release controls, a mix knob for parallel compression, and an external sidechain insert, we’ve now added a fully variable sidechain high pass filter, and a two position ‘tone + colour’ circuit which adds gentle tone sculpting and harmonic distortion, giving your bass some delicious character.

This provides a rich and warm sound full of harmonics in the compressed signal. That's why it should really be called TUBE COMPRESSORE.
The MARKBASS COMPRESSORE also has all the important functions of a compressor, which can be adjusted using the GAIN, THRESHOLD, RATIO, ATTACK, RELEASE and VOLUME controls.
There is also a TRUE BYPASS! This means that when the compressor is switched off, the signal goes directly from the input socket to the output socket without affecting the audio quality.
